Dr. Salameh is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. From the first time we met with him, I felt secure and knew I had found the right doctor for me. His office staff are wonderful. I had a bit of problem with my insurance and his nurse/office manager took care of everything. I would rate him exceptional. We meet with him every couple months and each time he seems to care how I am doing, how I feel, if I have any questions. He takes as much time as necessary to answer my questions and ensure I am on the right track in my weightloss path. He emphasizes eating right and exercising; you can't do one without the other. I would recommend him to anyone.
I met with Dr Salameh last week and started the evaluation process to have my sleeve gastrectomy. I had attended their seminar which was extremely helpful. I was very impressed with the surgeon and he was very knowlegeable and personable. He spent a lot of time explaining again the options and answering all my questions. I recommend him highly.
I loved Dr Salameh and his office staff. Michelle, the coordinator, is awesome and so helpful, so is Monica. I am very excited about starting my journey. I had my first consult and was very impressed with my surgeon. he reaaly took the time to go over everything and was very patient answering all my questions. I rate eevryone in the office a 10.
I had researched surgeons in northern VA and I am very pleased with my choice. Dr Salameh is very caring, friendly and thorough. He is a very experienced surgeon and he personally saw me and adjusted my band on all my appointmnts. His coordinator michelle is great and always returns my calls immediately.
It is impossible that I could have picked a better surgeon. Dr Salameh and his office staff are just awesome. Very thorough and thoughtful, great bed side manners and outstanding competence... Everything from the first visit, to the evaluation process, to the insurance approval was so easy and straightforward. They communicate with you great. The hospital is definitely the nicest and most comfortable in the area with all private rooms. I want to find something negative to say but I can't find any! I am having a great experience. Dr Salameh gets an A++.
When I met Dr. Salameh you could tell right off that he was a very carring person. He explained the surgery & everything so well, that there really wasn't many questions left to ask him.
rnI think that he would have stayed in the room with me as long as needed, just to explain anything to me. He is not a rush in rush out doctor.
rnThis Doctor would get a complete & full 10 rating from me. In everything so far. I'm not saying that he is perfect by no means. But he sure makes you feel comfortable & takes away all the unpleasent feelings that you may have.rnrnrn
Dr. Salameh was so nice and made the first appointment a positive and wonderful experience. I had already been to a seminar at CMMC, so most of the info he was telling me was a repeat. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed, which is important for allowing the patient to open up. Lori is like the diamond in the bunch too. She is very helpful and has an energetic approach to every single encounter, whether by phone or in person. I absolutely love her.
I had surgury With Dr. Salameh on 2-27-06 and I found him to be my angel. When I met with him he didn't hold anything back and kept me really informed and then then morning of surgury he was right there talking to me before they put me under. He gets on a close level with his patients and that is a good thing. He was great with follow-up care as well. I would recommend him to ANYONE.... A++++++++++++++++++++rnrnThanks Dr. Salameh for giving me my life back.
We were waiting to be put in an exam room and Dr. Salameh walked up and shook our hands and introduced himself. I do not know how he knew us except that maybe he does not get too many husband/wife patients. He was so nice. Very professional. He explained everything very well.We had a few questions and he answered them. He had remembered seeing me at a support group meeting the month before. I was impressed. I know he sees a lot of patients and to remember that was nice to me. I have talked to several patients that he did their surgery. I feel we made the right decision and look forward to the surgery. The office staff was so nice. I knew some of them since I have worked at UMC for so long. He was very clear about after care and the importance of diet and exercise. He went over all the risks and was very clear. He seemed to have both surgical competence and bedside manner. We rate him a 10! The only negative thing We have to say is that I found out he is not certified in gastric bypass surgery. I still feel we made the right decision about having him do the surgery.
I personally have not talked to Dr. Kng. Most of the information that I have gotten about him have been through patients of his. From what I have heard, he is very good at what he do.
Hopefully I will get a chance to talk to him soon. And hopefully regarding a surgery date? Or maybe I am just being too hopeful.

I have not wrote in awhile, but I have been very busy. At work and trying to get this surgery set up.
Well I have changed my doctor. My procedure doctor is Dr. Mathis in Tupelo. I have visited with him twice. I have had all the test ran. I have just had my final visit with him and my family member. My surgery is scheduled for May 16, 2003. I am so excited and hope that nothing gets in the way of the surgery. But you know the saying that if something could go wrong, it will. But I pray not. :)

Why did I make that comment about if something goes wrong it will, and it has. My surgery has been delayed until Vocational Rehab. and my doctor can get something straight. The doctor may decide at the last minute I might add, that he do not want to deal with Voc. Rehab. So I am very disappointed. I thought things was all set. I was just counting down the days. Just my bad luck, I guess. But I would like to think all of you for your encouragement. I will keep you posted on everything that happens. Thanks for you prayers. :(
