My surgeon and his complete team were and continue to be great. The surgery went very well and my post op care program is progressing very well. I also know that at anytime I can call the clinic if I have any questions,concerns and problems at any time.

I liked Dr Reed from the begining i was a little scared of him at first but i am a shy person In the end i thought he was amazing and did a great job with my surgery Everyone at the clinic was great Nancy my dietician was good and loved the nurses. I give them all a 10 out of 10 it was a great experience

I actually waited so I could go see Dr. Reed specifically rather than going to the U.S. rnHe is knowledgable, professional, supportive & compassionate.rnI could not ask for a better surgeon when going through such a huge life change. rnDr. Reed & Dr. Maykut (anaesthetist) both came to see me regularly during my hospital stay and made me feel very well taken care of.rnDr. Reed extensively went over the risks, benefits, etc regarding surgery, and made me feel confident I was making the right decision. rnrnThe staff at the clinic is fantastic as well. Audrey, Jodie, Linda & Nancy are very attentive, supportive & helpful. They provide a lot of information, and answered all of my questions. Denise is fantastic, and booked my surgery quickly. She was incredibly supportive, knowledgable & respectful. Confidentiality has been respected, which had an increased risk for me, as I'm GGH staff.rnrnI would recommend Dr. Reed to anyone, and can honestly attest to the fact that he has saved my life in providing me with a tool to get my weight under control.rnThank you Dr. Reed!!

He and I clicked right away. He is smart, tidy, organized, honest, direct and everything you would want in a surgeon! Very comfortable with him at this stage. Will update after I'm home.

Dr. Reed is compassionate, he listens to your questions and concerns and is forthright and honest in his answers. Donna the Dietician was understanding and a fountain of knowledge. I modified what I consumed and managed to lose prior to the Optifast! Denise the Office Manager was always kind, willing to share a laugh and wonderful throughout everything! rnrnI would recommend going through Dr. Reed's program to anyone interested in WLS!!! I had pretty much zero pain and no complications afterward. Now that he is headlining the Centre for Excellence in Bariatrics in Guelph I am hoping they will add a Psychologist or Psychiatrist into the mix.rnrnI would have this surgery again under this awesome surgeon.

I like Dr. Reed he is very straightforward and I think he and I understand each other. I like his staff very much. Again I tend to be very forthright and I appreciate the same from the professionals I deal with. I am looking forward to moving on to the next phase. I am waiting for my date for surgery, I am also taking Nancy's (nutritionist) advice and revising my eating habits, overall so far a good experience.rnI am now post op and I can safely say that Dr. Reed is an excellent surgeon, I have not had a moment where I felt unsure re: my surgical teams competence. My anesthesiologist Dr. Maykut was also excellent and his bedside manner was above average.rnrnDr. Reed's bedside manner is one of a surgeon who is also a perfectionist and he is not the type to make small talk he is all business. That being said I am fine with his bedside manner because I trust him to tell me exactly what I need to do and not get distracted with other insignificant stuff. I have met a number of other patients of his as well as medical colleagues of his and they all had the highest praise for his prowess as a surgeon and particular a bariatric surgeon. Safe to say that I would highly recommend him. On a scale of 1-10 I would give him a 10 for the surgery.

Dr Reed and his staff are the best.rnThey made me feel human and worthy of their attention and help. The Guelph General ROCKS! The nursing staff where great and attentive, they took great care of me. My surgical experience was awesome for a surgery and I had little or no pain. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Reed to anyone.
