First impression: I liked his smile because he also smiles with his eyes. That means a lot to me. And thought \"He's attractive\". Hey, I'm human. rnrnImpression hasn't changed much. I haven't seen him a lot, but I like him and trust his ability and experience.rnrn

I met Dr. Bonanni for the first time yesterday. He was very informitive, and answered all my questions.

I have not met with Dr. Bonnani yet, but have met with Paula and some of the staff. They are wonderful. I had some problems with a referral and a lot of questions and they have been very helpful, never rude as some other doctor's offices have been.rnrn12/6/04 - I met with Dr. Bonanni for the first time on Saturday 12/4/04. He is wonderful. He spoke to me like a person he has known for a long time, not someone he just met. He was very caring during his exam. He explained everything to me before I had the chance to ask. Everyone I have met in his office has been wonderful, very pleasant to talk with. I did not feel like he was rushing me when we were talking even though I know he was very busy. I was very nervous about meeting him and discussing everything with him, but once he came in the room all my tension eased. I feel I could not have chosen a better surgeon.rnrn1/16/07 - Dr. Bonanni is no longer with the Reading Hospital so according to my insurance I can no longer see him as my surgeon. His new practice in Abington is out of my coverage area. I do attend the support groups with his new practice. He is a wonderful surgeon and anyone in the Abington, PA area looking into GBS should call his office and check out his info session.

As I began my journey at the Abington Surgical Weight Loss Center I feel wonderful and lucky that I have found such a great group of people for this journey. As I have gone thru the Pre op phase...it has been simple and very thorough. Now that I am post op...I have to say that Dr Bonnani, Manny, Paula, Anne, and Jamie are just as wonderful as I thought that they were. The office is very compassionate and caring. They are there for you...I have never been to a doctor's office where I feel like part of a family. There is nothing that I can say negativly...

Dr. Bonanni is one of the nicest physicians I have EVER met in my life. He was quick to make me feel at ease, and I was impressed by his credentials, and his practice as a whole. His office staff - Paula, Ann and Jamie are incredible to boot! I can honestly say that I'm ecstatic that he has moved to the Philadelphia area and will be performing my surgery of choice.

'I was impressed with Dr. Bonanni the minute I met him. Being overweight has been a very sensitive issue for me my entire life and have never been comfortable talking about it to any of my healthcare providers. Dr. Bonanni is the exception. I know he has my best health interests at heart and I feel very comfortable talking to him about this sensitive subject. He is kind

'I was impressed with Dr Bonanni. He was very nice and concerned. I had my surgery 11/17/03 and have been very successful with no major problems until now... almost 3 years later... I have had an abdominal abcess that needed to be drained twice now and I have a possible bowel obstruction seen on a CT Scan in the ER. And Dr Bonanni and Dr Beetle refuse to see me since I owe them $700 from my surgery that my insurance did not pay. Now I don't think too much of them. I thought they were human and cared about their patients

Dr. Bonanni is a wonderful surgeon with lots of skill and knowledge in bariatrics. He cares about his patients. The entire staff at The Weight Management Center are awesome people to work with. Everyone in that office goes out of their way to help you in everyway possible- it's awesome! Theresa the former Dietician was my saving grace- I think I called her everyday in the begining! And Paula, the program coordinator was my everything! Anything that needed to be taken care of, she had it done. They really are a great team! Unfortunately, Dr. Bonanni is relocating and will soon be leaving the practice and we are sad to see him go, but I know that office won't skip a beat- They're on the ball! I am glad that my husband and I were blessed to have been under the care of Dr. Bonanni and his staff.

I met with Dr. Bonanni on October 2005 and I must say he made me feel comfortable from the moment he stepped into the examination room. That was just what I needed since I was feeling a bit depressed at the thought of actually needing to be seen by a weight loss surgeon. He reassured me that I was making the right choice by choosing the surgery and stressed the importance of it as well the risks involved. He was straight forward and let me know that it was NOT "the easy way out" , as so many people think. He told me all about how my body has relied on my size and would fight me all the way to keep the weight on because it depends on it. He stressed the importance of doing "my part" after the surgery and gave me no false assumptions that I would be jumping right into a bikini after the surgery. I was really pleased with his honesty. This way I have no blindfolds to pack with me before surgery. Overall, I felt extremly comfortable with Dr. Bonanni. He was a "real" Dr with a "real" personaltiy educating me "real" honesty. For this I am proud to have him as my surgeon and eagerly await my surgery approval and date.

Dr.Bonanni is very down to earth, very personable. He made me feel very comfortable. My impression has stayed the same, he's a great doctor if you ask me!!!!!!!!
He strongly encourges pts. to attend support
group meeting, and to call the office with any
questions or concerns, after the week post op,and the month post op,you come back every 3 months until your yr. anniversary, then I think it's yearly. I think a doctor should have a mix of surgical competency and bedside manner, and Dr.Bonanni and the rest
of the practice are excellent, I had a hard time with my drain in the hospital and the
doctors were very sensitive to my worries and
concerns, they explained things to me in laymans terms and made sure that I understood what was going on. I am very
pleased with Dr.Bonanni and his associates, I
couldn't recommend a better group of doctors.
