Edward Cussatti Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS, FASMBS

Dr. Cussatti is a wonderful doctor and man. He was one of the first doctors that I have ever visitied that answered all of my questions as thoroughly as one could. He took time during each visit to ask questions and explain things. On my final visit before surgery I had to wait over one hour in the waiting room and about 45 minutes in the examining room. When he came in the first thing he did was shake my hand and apologize profusely for the long wait. No doctor has ever done that to me. I was very appreciative of that. That showed me right there how caring he is. On the day of surgery, prior to the operation, he walked over to my bed in the waiting area, shook my hand and put me at ease. When I was in the recovery room, he came to my bed and told me that he called my wife. I would recommend Dr. Cussatti to anyone who is considering surgery.

Dr. Cussatti is the best surgeon I could have picked. He has operated on my whole family - my husband for RNY, me for LapBand, Gall Bladder, Lapband removal and finally RNY this past September and our daughter for RNY this past 12/1. He is a wonderful, caring doctor and he could not be more skilled! He was the right choice for my whole family!

Well, I was nervous about meeting the surgeon but I was really put at ease. He is the nicest man and he has no \"doctor bossy\" way about him. He answered my questions, he asked me questions that made me think. He was actually my surgeon a month ago to take my gallbladder out and he was so great. I highly recommend. Future patients should know that is very much a serious man and takes everything into consideration.

My first impression of Dr. Cussatti was \"Wow, he is kinda young.\" But he was awesome to talk to and really cared and listened and made sure I knew what was going to happen and so forth. He also lowered my expectations of being approved since my insurance is usually hard to deal with. WHen his office called me with an approval I was very surprised and happy. The girls in the office are great, especially Iris. She never, ever gets annoyed, no matter how many times I call. Judi was very nice too...she is teh benfits coordinator. I feel very good in Dr. Cussatti's hands and I hope for a great surgery!

Dr Cussatti has a great bedside manner and he really cares for the person and want to do right by that parson ...

Dr Cussatti is the BEST surgeon around! He takes the time to explain EVERY little detail to you and he really takes a sincere interest in your health and well being. I was originally banded by Dr Cussatti on 1/9/04 and 3 1/2 years later I had a slip and Dr Cussatti took EXCELLENT care of me when I had to have it removed. Now I'm having him do a revision to an RNY on me because I know his surgical skills are superior!

I liked him from the get go. He truly cares about his patients. He has a wonderful bedside manner. My impression of him only gets better. The office & staff are wonderful too. PS My daughter, Cheryl, works in that office. He really emphasizes the after care and does have a structured after care program. He wants to be sure you follow the rules for continued weight loss and maintenence. He addressed all the risks at the Group Seminar, he had at his office. I would rate him a 10. Excellant. I think that both his surgical competence and bedside manner are GREAT~!!

He is very compassionate to the needs of the bariatric patient; and very straight forward with the actual procedure and potential complications. I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon. He is happy answers any questions you may need to ask. I would recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery. He is a great doctor and His office staff was very professional and friendly.

DR Cussatti is one of the nicest Drs you will ever meet. He is so open and honest. He is such a sweetie. He is very through in his exams and answers any questions you may need to ask. I would recomend him to all. He is the best......
His office staff was very nice to me. Never had anything bad to say.
He is very concerned about you and your health. He would not tell you to do something that will hurt you.
