Dominick Artuso Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

My first impression was that I was talking with someone who was extrememly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. This was true the first time I met him up until the day of surgery. The office staff appear to be very caring and involved. The aftercare program appears to be tailored to the procedure and the way in which each individual is devoted to succeeding. All risks were appropriately addressed so that I fully understood what I was going into. Overall, I would rate Dr. Artuso as EXCELLENT! Dr. Artuso has both a good bedside manner and is a very competent surgeon.

I just switched to Dr Artuso from Dr Michalski, after Dr Mickalski became ill. Dr Artuso will now work with me to see if the insurance company will accept us.

Dr Artuso was recommended to me by another health provider and I couldn't be happier. From the first evaluation to the surgery and now almost 9 weeks post op- he has been wonderful. I have lost about 35 pounds already. No question was too small. All of Dr Artuso's staff are the best, friendly and helpful. His assistant Pat- at St Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie actually came to the holding area of Pre- op to wish me well, and was there on my first \"fill\" appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Artuso to anyone considering this surgery

When I first called Dr. Artuso's office in Nov. 05 I thought I would have to wait many months before my first appointment. I did not. In fact I was able to see Dr. Artuso within two weeks.rnrnWhen I arrived I was greeted and provided with many forms to fill out. Later, I had a consult with Dr. Choi, he was very optomistic about my possible success with the band. Dr. Choi reminded me of Ming Tsai...LOL rnrnI also met with Laura, who coordinated all the testing and evaluations required. I didnt want to use thier psychologist to get my psych eval just because I wanted a fresh perspective from another woman who had wasnt steeped in the WLS industry. rnrnOn the day of my surgery, I met with the nurses and Dr. Artuso, who was so kind!rnrnI woke up in the recovery room and the nurses were quick to get my legs in compression leggins. They checked on me constantly. I began walking around within hours to cheers throughout the floor from nurses and other patients alike. That night one nurse came to give me a sponge bath and change my bandages. She wanted to have the surgery too so she stayed and talked to me at length. rnrnThe next day Dr. Choi came to check on me along with pulmonologists and nutritionist. I was promptly discharged without incidence. It was an overall pleasant experience.

Dr. Artuso is the best!!! He and His staff helped to make this entire process very delightful. I never felt lost or alone dealing with him. He listens and pays attention to all your concerns. Anytime I called the office my questions were answered. If Laura couldn't help me Dr. Artuso would get back to me. I really loved the fact that they set up all the pre-testing on the same day, and there was someone to show you around the hospital to all your appointments. I didn't have to worry about the paper work. They took care of everything. The best part was that the next day post op Dr. Artuso himself wheelled me to X-ray and took care of everything. He is very hands on and personable. His confidence and expertise, made me feel assured and safe. I am very happy I chose Dr. Artuso, and I would recommend him to everyone.

I think that Dr. Artuso is very knowledgable and very experienced. I greatly appeciate all he has done for me, and I feel very conformtable talking to him about any issues or questions I may have.rnrnHis office staff are fantastic and very helpful!rnrnOverall I give him a 9/10!

My first impression of Artuso was he is the sweeties man around. He helped me with all of my questions and all of my concerns. Whenever I need to talk to him I can. he helped me realise how to use my band as a tool and lose the weight the right way. HEALTHY. I feel great because of Dminick Artuso. I was very impressed with Dr. Artuso, he is everything everone said he is, he was very up front about the surgery, he took the time to explain in detail about everthingthat will take place and everthing that can happen. i was very nervous before seeing him but after talking with Dr. Artuso i felt very at ease, he really cares about his patients care,and the staff is all wonderful
