He was very compassionate and the whole office is amazing... He is huge on after care. HE IS 100 out of 10...

I immediately liked Dr. Halmi. He has a quiet spirit, but was very knowlegable and to the point, which I appreciate. His staff has been great. They are really on top of it and they kept me informed along the way. Dr. Halmi's pre-op and after care are very structured and you get tested for everything under the sun prior to surgery. I am comfortable with the choice I made having Dr. Halmi as my surgeon and I'm looking forward to my new journey!!!

Very caring and professional. Great office staff. Only problem is Halmi's availability. He is very busy and hard to get an appointment with. Strong emphasis on after care. Upfront about risks. Very good surgeon.

I was happy when I found out that Dr. Halmi was going to be my surgeon. He was the first doctor that I met at the practice, and I liked him right away.

Yesterday was my surgery. Dr. Halmi came in to speak to my boyfriend and I before the surgery and answered all of our questions. He was very reassuring. Sometime before the surgery he came and spoke to my boyfriend again and then again after the surgery.

I had asked him if I could leave the same day and he allowed it. Evidently, it isn't the norm for the hospital where I was. I appreciated that he did that.

The bariatric program between his practice and Potomac hospital are quite close. I find that reassuring. Everyone involved seems so well informed and kind. I feel as though I hit the jackpot having chosen this group, this surgeon, and this hospital.

The office at Blue Point is GREAT!! Everyone is so nice and friendly!!! Dr. Halmi was great! Very knowledgable and friendly and really cares about his patients...

As far as my experience with this doctor. The surgeons did a fantastic job, i recovered VERY quickly and my insicions are nice and tiny.

The office staff i found to be rude some of the times, almost acting as though it were me that needed them vs, me being their customer.

They are very good about educating you on what needs to be done before and after including nutrition classes and multiple visits for preparing you.

I would reccomend this office for the surgeons, but dont expect to get a warm welcome from the office staff.

I have loved Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran from my first meetings. They are both friendly and full of information. You can tell they care about you as a patient. They both work together doing revisions so I will have the best of both doing mine. The whole office is friendly and very professional and are always ready to assit you. After approval, there is so much support and information available. It's amazing how much has changed since my first surgery 8 years ago. These people are very passionate about their business and that business is you. I have never felt like I was a bother to anyone.rnrnThe practice has a very extensive aftercare program with a very structured program to maximize your success before and after surgery. They use the Optifast Diet for 2 wks before surgery in order to improve your overall health and make surgery recovery easier. I would definitely recommend Blue Point Surgical Group for every aspect of your surgery journey.

Bluepoint Surgical Group is a well oiled machine. They are good at what they do. Their before, during and after care is second to none. They wrote the book. If you run into a problem, they have many informed people to help you solve it.rnrnrnrn

There are two surgeons Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran they both seem nice the staff has been helpful. Bluepoint surgery group really make sure that you are safe before and after. I would recommend them.

My first impression of Denis Halmi was that he was very intimidating. I felt kind of guilty to be looking at this man and asking him for my help. He is a VERY sincere man and really knows his work. The office staff is very busy and I would say \"not so friendly\" BUT after all, they are not the ones doing my surgery. Dr. Halmi did wonders for me. I went through a lot with my surgery and he was very helpful and skillful the entire time. Overall, I would give him a 10 for his bedside manner, knowledge, etc.
