IF I wish to join the clinic AFTER CARE PROGRAM I could pay 5000.00 for five years

Very friendly and informative during the initial telephone contact and continued to be friendly and caring for my surgery on July 6-11.
Dr C. Cooburn is worth every dime.!!!!. He has been there when ever I have needed him. Even called me on the side of the freeway waith for a tow truck to fix his flat tire. When I had my crisis in April 2008. He was callin my Husband everyday for up dates.
He truly cares for what he does and the people he helps. He is a giant in his field.

My first impression was that he was kind person to talk to . At time our first conversation was like dealing with a car salesman. He was the best lot in town.
With continued conversation he believed in what he did. He respopnded to all of my questions and e-mails. Soi far I am pleased.
More to come once I have further info from his office.
Dr. Coburn was very professional, and kind. After people treating you like you are a second class citizen because you are overwieght, it was refreshing to be treated by someone with compassion. His staff was very helpful and courteous.
He is a very nice, straight forward man. Was willing to take time with me and followed up regularly to make sure I was ok. Really a very good experience.rnHe is very specific about the after care. You are monitored initially on a daily basis. After that, it is extends to biweekly and then monthly. If you need more care or have questions, there are no limits to how often you access the office.rnThe risks of the surgery were all outlined by Dr. Cobourn in our first meeting. They were outlined in the package you take with you and yet again pre operatively. rnI would rate him excellent.rnI think bedside manner is equally important as competence. If you have a great doc with lousy bedside, it takes away what he can do simply because the trust isnt there. rnI guess my only negative is that while he has called me since my surgery, I haven't seen him. My contacts have been with his nurses only.
GREAT! Wonderful staff! Support system is outstanding. I feel very comfortable with the whole situation knowing that the staff is looking out for my best interest. Dr. Cobourn is very approchable and a great listener. Answers all questions...NO RUSHING! Will take the time and very reassuring. I am looking forward to my surgery in Oct.
He is very caring and understanding. He takes his time and explains things so that you feel comfortable. His staff are all very nice, friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Cobourn to others considering lap band surgery.

He is a fantastic individual with a great bedside manner. He has banded both my mother and I in the last 2 years and our impression of him has not changed. The office staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. After care is extremely important at Dr. Coburn's office. You are in contact with the nursing staff, dieticians, and all support staff once you commit to this procedure. There is a web page based support system in place as well so you can communicate with future and past banders. I would recommend Dr. Coburn to anyone thinking of following through with this procedure.
