Charles Cook Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

He is very confident of his abilities. I feel safe under his care. I had a list of a million questions and he listened to them all. He was very busy but you couldn't tell by the time he took with me.

I don't get to meet him until April 17, 2003, but I've read alot of things about him (good things). I get on my cimputer a school and read everything about him I can find.

It has been a year since my surgery and I have lost 175lbs. I loved Dr. Cook. He was informative, kind, and very personable. I was very at ease talking with him and his staff. I had an after surgery incision infection which he took great care of. I have nothing negative to say about him or his staff. I am so greatful for his knowlege and how comfortable he made me feel. I had no permanent complications, and lead a very normal life with this surgery.

Dr. Cook is really a great doctor. I met him on an emergencey basis and he has been there ever since.

He has a wonderful bedside manner. He remembers you, even from 2 years before, he is so personable.

His staff so far and in past experiences are professional.

I met Dr. Cook on 4-11-02. He's very 'up front' and direct, yet caring and personable. He answered all my questions, and introduced me to his staff members. I was very impressed, and instantly at ease with him. His office staff people were very helpful and caring, and had a good sense of humor.

He was very profesional looks very young but is a very skilled surgeon.He does about 100 surgeries a year all with great sucess.I asked him if he has ever done anyone my size which is 745 lbs. and not to long ago he preformed the surgery on a 750 lbs. man all went well. He went over the procedure with me step by step was very clear on the risks and covered everything I needed to know.I met his assistant,he was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable right away. Also I met his nurse she was very nice answered a few questions for me. I am looking forward to this surgery and Dr. Cook I feel comfortable with and I trust him to do the very best he can.

My first impression was confidence. He had good eye contact. He sat down beside me and carefully went over everything that would happen. His office staff was professional and made me feel comfortable. He spent considerable time with me and drew his own pictures to explain the procedure. I felt very comfortable knowing he would be the person performing the procedure. At this point I rate him extremely professional and caring. I will continue to share.

he is a wonderful guy he made me feel very comfortable my impression of him never changed his office staff were great and i really cant think of anything i didnt like about him if i was looking to have surgery again id ask for dr cook he was the best and he did emphasize after care

I am very pleased w/ Dr. Cook.

My impression is that he is highly competent and he has a really good personality. He was off work one day, but told me in advance he would be off and came to see me all the other days. In addition, he had residents checking on me about 2-3 times per day.

I do not have one negative word on him. I would recommend him to anyone; he operated on my mother as well and she too thinks highly of him.
