Calvin Selwyn Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Selwyn earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency at Marshfield/St. Joseph’s Hospital in Wisconsin and an advanced Laparoscopic, Bariatric and Endoscopic fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Dr. Selwyn served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati where he taught surgery residents and medical students. He has several journal publications and poster presentations related to Minimally Invasive Surgery and has been an invited speaker at national surgical society meetings. Prior to joining Maui Medical Group, he was Director of Robotic Surgery at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in South Carolina, and then Surgery Staff at Ministry Medical Group St. Michael’s Hospital in Wisconsin. Dr. Selwyn is experienced in a wide range of general surgical procedures including Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Endoscopy and Bariatric Surgery. He is Board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
