I can only say that Dr. Moein is one of the most thorough and caring physicians I have ever met. While some may consider the process lengthy and time consuming, believe me, it is all for the patient's benefit. rnI met Dr. Moein when attending an information seminar at GBMC and found him to be exceptionally well versed in not only the process, but the emotional well-being of the patient. He is very detail oriented and pays very close attention to the patient's medical records. He is a wonderful surgeon and I highly recommend him.rnHats off to Dr. Moein. He has changed my life for the better!!
I had my lapband surgery on june 6, 2008. My first impression of Dr. M was that he was very quiet which made me a little uncomfortable in the beginning. Well, after my surgery, I've been to see him a few times and I have found he has a wonderful sense of humor. He is very caring and kind. rnrnOffice staff is very nice and helpful. Aftercare program consists of a support group which meets once a month and you go in for fills periodically.rnrnOverall, I would recommend Dr. M. he is competent, kind, and knows what he is doing. Top notch Dr.
I first met Dr. Moe at the information seminar. My first impression was that he was very approachable. rnrnOver time I found that my first impression was correct. Everyone in the office is friendly and makes you feels at ease. They answer all question that you have and make you feel like you are in good hands. They have a very structured program and I would definitely feel comfortable recommending his office and program to anyone.rnrnAfter my surgery, I was so thankful that I stayed with Dr. Moe. My surgery went so smoothly, I had no complications. I went home the next evening. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I feel totally safe with his surgical competence.
My first experience with Dr. Moen (abreviatted of course) was during the informational seminar. I thought he did a great job of explaining the options and he didn't hold anythong back. I was impressed that he stressed that this was not an EASY fix! I started the program and did not like some of the office staff, lucky for me the office was in transition (Dr. VonRueden left & took some of the key people). Lucky for me some of the ones that left were the ones I did not care for. There were a few bumps for some people, none for me. Dr. Moen was able to replace the lost staff with a really great group of people, Casey, Kay, Nick & Missy are great and I always look forward to my appts.rnDr. Moen himself is very professional but not too rigid. Meaning I always felt comfortable with him. rnThe practice gives you all the tools you need for aftercare and they are available if you need them. As of today I am 2 weeks post surgery and I am just trying to get myself on a regular program of fluid & protein! They offer a free monthly group session that I will be going to regularly! I already went to my first one and it is great interacting with those that are much further along and getting good advice. It is also fun to meet those headed for the surgery and offer them advice for after.rnOverall I would give Dr. Moen 5 stars (out of 5). He seems to be a great surgeon and his bedside manner is comforting. (Especially when he spent 20 minutes to remove a little tiny piece of stitch that was sticking out of one of the \"holes\" from the surgery. He was determined to get it even though it wasnt necessary and he was needed elsewhere in the office. He did it to make me more comfortable. He could have left it to Nick!
Dr. Moeinolmolki conducted an information seminar that allowed you to ask questions and get info about the surgery options, him and his office. His staff has explained everything from start to finish and has always answered any of my questions. Dr. Moeinolmolki made it be known from day one that he will be following up personally with your progress after surgery, if you miss a post op appointment he will call personally to reschedule, he is very involved with overall care not just before and during the surgery but he emphasizes that this is a lifestyle change and that him and his office will be there for the long haul. He recently had some staffing changes at his office, the NUT and CRNP have left, but it seems to me that the office still runs as smoothly as ever and everyone is on the same page.
My first impression of Dr. Moein was that he was friendly, knowledgable and caring. My impression has not changed over time.rnrnHis office staff is not the best I've encountered. The people who answer the phones are extremely incompetent. I called to ask if they had received a report from my endo, and they were confused and could not help me. They said I had to speak to a nurse. They also cannot ever help when we have billing issues. Even the \"financial coordinator\" is unable to help us.rnrnHe emphasizes aftercare a great deal. I don't know that I'd call the aftercare program \"structured\" but they do have support groups and a nutritionist on staff. rnrnThe risks are gone over in the initial information session and while going through seeing all of the specialists. I was required to see many, many specialists to make sure that my risks were minimized.
