My Wife Pam and I met with Dr Bright on March 24th. We had are consultations together. He said it was his first husband & wife Consult; we will both have the surgery this year. Dr Bright was very professional and we liked him immediately. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I started the meeting not sure if I wanted to have the surgery. I left, excited and positive that it was right for me.

I havwn't been to see the doctor yet. But I'm told Dr. Bright does Laproscopic.. The doctor around here won't see me til I have Insurance approval

Dr. Pennings in CDL, Idaho would probably see me. But even if I had insurance approval He requires his fee payed up front.

We met with Dr Bright in March. It was the 5th time I have seen a Dr for WLS. Even though I felt fully informed by the time I saw Dr Bright he gave me even more information regarding all the types of WLS there are and took an hour of his time to discuss this in detail with me. I have met quite a few of his patients through my work and all of them have wonderful things to say about him.

Dr. Bright is an incredibly understanding, sensitive surgeon who gave me facts, realistic expectations and hope.

I would recommend him to anyone.

I met with Dr. Bright on Jan. 7th. My first impression was boy is he skinny. As we talked I felt he was very nice and very understanding of the struggles of obese people. His staff was courteous. Overall I was very comfortable with him.

The only real concern I have is I have heard from others that it can take a long time for the pre-authorization to be sent to the insurance co. but I am hoping that won't be the case.

My first impression of Dr. Bright was a very good one. I rely heavily on first impressions so I was very glad that my husband and I were immediately comfortable with him. He discussed all of the different surgery options as well as the risks associated with them. His staff was very professional and very kind. We never felt that they were talking down to us and they all spoke with us as though we have known them for years. After care, I can tell, is crucial to them and their follow up program is excellent. I feel very comfortable with my decision and very glad Dr. Bright will be my surgeon.

Dr. Bright is a very educated and nice man. He was very informative and honest with my husband and myself.
The office is very large and they see a lot of patients. It is sometimes difficult to get information from one person because each area of the clinic handles a different part of the process.
There are so many people waiting to see the Dr. that the time frame it takes to get an apt. is a little upsetting. It took 3 months to get a consultation. I will have had to wait 3 months more after aproval for the surgery date. I understand that they are busy, but it is a little difficult to wait that long.
Overall: I am very happy with Dr. Bright and his staff at this time.

Dr. Bright is wonderful surgeon and terrific person. For the first time in my life I felt like I was talking to a doctor who didn't judge me or blame me for being obese. Instead he was excited for me and looking forward to helping me. He took his time explaining things and answering my questions. He is knowledgable, patient and kind. As far as his surgical abilities go, everyone tells me I must have had a wonderful surgeon because my scar looks so good. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. I will always be thankful to Dr. Bright and everyone who helped me with my surgery.

My first impression of Dr Bright was hummmm...Younger than I thought he would be and he is kinda cute. After talking to him I thought he is a very knowledgable man who answered all my questions. I even felt ok asking stupid questions...He was able to carry on a conversation and seemed genuinely interested in what was best for me. We discussed what surgeries are available for weightloss and which one he recommends for me, the surgery, whether to have lap or open, the risks, aftercare, whether my family is supportive of this decision, and so much more I cannot even believe there is so much to consider. The staff was ok, there was computer system changeover & my approval took like twice the normal amount of time it usually does. Once approved however, the process went great.I would recommend Dr. Bright to patients because I really like him. I will soon know about his surgical skills and I am sure that they will be great also!!!
