My surgeon was Dr. Terracina. My first impression of him was that he seemed nice enough and took the time to explain what I needed to know. He also asked if I had any questions.

The office staff is very nice also. Terry and Christy were always available when I had questions or concerns. They never made me feel stupid when I asked questions. They all made me feel like theywere there to make "me" happy.

The afte care was as great as the pre-op care. He sat down and spoke with me. Made sure I knew all that I needed to know for the time until I come back to see him again. He was NOT distracted or in a rush. HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE ONLY PATIENT THAT MATTERED AT THAT TIME. If I had to recomend a surgeon to a close/close family member... NO DOUBT, it would be Dr. Terracina.

My only negative comment is that he will be leaving Panama City soon. You finaly find someone competent and they leave town. (smile) We wish him all the best...

Well the only thing I can say is that I have the BEST doctor in the world!! Dr. Terracina is actually the only doctor in my area that perfoms this type of surgery and has saved many lives here in Florida. His bedside manner is excellent and he makes each patient feel like they are the only patient that he has. During your follow up visits he makes you feel so good about yourself and your progress wether it is big or small. He also really cares about your health and monitors you very closely. Overall he is an excellent surgeon, I hardly have any little scars.

He was a wonderful , very nice and concerned,he really cared and wanted to help me :).His staff was wonderful as well ,expecially terri, she files wiht the insurance company , she keept on top of them untill they sent her my approval.There was not a thing i didn't like about him .He has a great follow up program and menues .I give him a 10 and i would recomend him to anyone , he has a great bedside and surgical manner.

My very first impression was he was a good-looking happy caring doc. My impression has not changed. Everyone in the office was very kind and helpful..A special thank you to Terry for all her diligent work. I have not yet found anything I do not like about Dr Terracina. He is a very caring Dr. and he shows it to each and every one of his patients. He feels support groups are a must post-op. The Gulf Coast Medical Center Program does offer a program.(I am not sure about Bay Medical) He was very honest on all the possible risk of having this procedure.0-10 I rate Dr Terracina a 11!!! He is very competent and his beside manner is outstanding.

Dr. Terracina is a fantastic surgeon with a very good reputation around town. This was proven to me by his bedside manner, attention to detail, and over all respect that he shows his patients and the nursing staff that he works with. And to top that all off, LADIES, he is not bad on the eyes either.

He's a wondrful, caring person, very professional and understanding. He carefully explained everything and was very reassuring.

Post op, he and his staff were great,encourging my rapid recovery and release from the hospital.

I will return for my post op visit next week, as I start the downhill side of my weight problem!

I woul whole-heartedly recommen Dr. T to anyone considering WLS

I met Dr. Terracina prior to my becoming interested in bariatric surgery. I think he is a very caring person inside and outside of his practice. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him and his expertise.

My first impression of Dr. Terracina was that he really cares about his work and his patients and really made me feel comfortable with him. His nurse was also very nice and helped me feel at ease. I was made to feel that I could stay and ask as many questions as I needed to and that they weren't stupid. :o) Terry, the lady who handles the insurance, is great! She will answer as many questions as she can and will spend as much time on the phone as she needs to with you as well as your insurance company in order to get approval. I am so glad I decided to go with Dr. Terracina.



I am now post op and am thrilled to have had Dr. Terracina as my surgeon. I adore him. He was excellent at keeping my family updated during surgery and visits while I was recovering. He goes over the after care requirements many times in order to make sure you understand. He is so friendly and really helped me feel at ease afterwards.
He's the best in my book!!!!!!

Dr. Terracina is a wonderful man. He is kind and considerate and you can tell he truly cares on what you think. The staff is also wonderful!! Terry, who handles the insurance part, was great! Everytime I called she kept an update on me. She was through and is always on the ball. She even asks me how I am doing, and wants pictures! The whole staff is a bunch of great people.

Dr. Terracina emphasize's to take the vitamins needed after surgery. And really pushes exercise. He also told me about the risks before I had surgery. That I may have to have open RNY (which I had too)but, he will try Lap.

I rate Dr. Terracina a 10! He is just an awesome doctor, and I would recommend him to anyone.

He has a fantastic bed side manner and surgical competence A plus!
