I did much research and went to the seminars with both surgeons in the WLS center prior to choosing one. I didn't have any concerns with either surgeon but I chose Dr. Terracina. Dr. Clark only does the open procedure and I decided to go with the laproscopic gastric bypass surgery. My first impression of Dr. Terracina was that he was such a friendly guy. He took time during the seminar to answer each and every question and did not rush anybody. He seemed like a very energenic and knowledgeable surgeon. He answered all of my questions during my preop visit and put me at ease.

My first impression of Dr. Terracina was great. I felt so at ease with him. The information that he gave in the seminar was fantastic and answered all of the questions that I had. The staff at the office are very friendly and helpful and it seems like they go the extra mile for every patient.
4/9/06 - I met with Dr. T last week twice, first time so he could help me in making my decision on which procedure I was going to choose, and the second time to go over my prop test results and exam. I found him to be extremely helpful in making my decision. He is very knowledgeable on both the RNY procedure and the Lap Band. I chose the lap band and I go in tomorrow morning for my surgery! I will try to remember to update again after Dr. T does the surgery because then I will get to see his bedside manner!

I have only seen Dr. T during his seminar and found him to be knowledgable and friendly. He answered everyone's questions with ease and confidence. Looking forward to meeting him for my one on one.
I had to switch to Bariatric Surgical Group because I could not get Pre-Auth from my Primary Insurance!! Right in the middle of everything I had to change. Will give you my opinion of this group after I get going with them. Sure hope I get better treatment than what I have gotten in the past thus far!!!!
MY SURGEON WAS/IS WONDERFUL. HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE, AND ALWAYS ALLOWS TIME FOR MY QUESTIONS. HIS OFFICE STAFF IS AWESOME, ESPECIALLY HIS RN. IF I HAS IT TO DO AGAIN, I'D STILL ONLY CHOOSE DR. TERRACINA.
My first impression of Dr. Terracina was that he has got to be the nicest man. I got warm and fuzzy feelings the minute I met him. I first met him at the first seminar that we had to go to. He answered every question that everyone had and was very patient. He is soft spoken and makes you feel right at home and relaxed. After surgery he came and checked on me everyday. He made sure I was fully aware of everything that I should and shouldn’t be doing. Also my incisions are beautiful can hardly see them now. His staff also is wonderful. They helped out with every question and concern that I had. I would definitely recommend him to everyone who wants to have this surgery. They definitely are a wonderful group of people.
My first impression of Dr.Terracina was, wow he's young and he's a little guy, however after attending his weight loss seminar on the laproscopic bypass procedure I felt very confident in him. He was very helpful and full of knowledge. I felt that I could ask him anything. He had a wonderful personality and the office staff was great. Everyone is of great help. His aftercare program is very detailed and precise. I would rate him a 9 Hes a wonderful person and very personable, with a great sense of humour.
