Dr Finnell is great. I would recommend him to everyone.

I would highly recommend Dr Finnell. I had laparoscopic roux en y gastric bypass on Jan 5th, 2012. Matter of fact, I'm having my first followup appt today. My hospital course was a little longer than anticipated due to some unanticipated bleeding issues that were no fault of the docs. Apparently I have a bleeding disorder that my mom was kind enough to pass down to me. Anyway, Dr Finnel was quick to get the appropriate consult to a hematologist and when I had a blood transfusion reaction he was right at my side. From a surgical standpoint I have absolutely no complaints. The post operative course has also gone exactly as he said it would. Thus far I am already down 20 lbs and am quite thrilled to report that I do, in fact, have ankles AND collar bones! :). Dr finnel is very honest, professional, and attentive. I'm an RN and can honestly say I am 100 percent happy with the care I have received from Dr Finnell. I'd also like to say that United Regional was first rate in every way. I'm looking forward to my new, healthier, more active life! :)

Dr. Finnell did an excellent job. I was very prepared on the day of surger for what to expect. He was very attentive in the hospital. He would visit twice everyday and on several ocassions the nurses would come in to check on me because he was on the phone. My release from the hospital went smoothly. I even received a follow up call the next day from Dr. Finnell to see how everything was going. I really appreciate all he did for me!

I met Dr. Finnell at a support meeting before I had my appt with him. I immediatly liked him. You can learn alot by a person on the first impression and his was awesome. Seemed to know what he was talking about and I learned more then I realized I would. He seems very confident and sure of himself. Had my first appt and his staff are just wonderful. Very helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. After I did the physic evaul I went back in and set the date for surgery. I had my surgery May 20, 2010. I was kinda scared at first but he put me at ease when he came in and talked to me before we went back to the O.R. His bedside manner is wonderful. After surgery he came in and checked on me that night and was one of the few times I have had a surgeon sit in the chair and just talk to me. I felt like he really cared!! I had my one week check up and he was really happy with the progress I had made. Today I went back on for my 6 wk check up- 23 lbs gone and I also got my first fill. Not going to lie and say it didn't hurt but it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. I'm not real crazy about needles and being poked but it all worked out and wasn't that bad at all. I feel like a new woman and Dr Finnell is the reason for that. He is a very caring and concerned doctor. I enjoy being his patient and look forward to seeing he and his staff. They always make me and my family feel like we are the only one's in the office- they are there for us. IF I had to choose another doctor I would choose him all over again. Nothing I would change. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself!! :-))

I first met Dr. Finnell at an informational meeting about WLS. He was very forthcoming about the risks and rewards of the surgery. Dr. Finnell isn't a man of many words, but I actually found his demeanor pretty relaxing and laid-back. For my first pre-op appointment, Dr. Finnell was two hours late. I found this somewhat disconcerting, but he made up for it by being very attentive and informative. The office staff at Solutions is so friendly and helpful, returning calls almost immediately after they are made. The surgery went well with no complications, and I am glad I chose Dr. Finnell. Overall, I would rate him a 10!

Dr. Finnell is the best surgeon ever! He is very smart and made me feel comfortable about my decision. He was open to any and all questions that I had. His staff at Solutions is great. The pre-surgery classes held there gives you great information regarding the surgery and what to expect before, during, and after. The post-surgery program is superb. I am only 3 months out (if that) and I feel that I am being well looked after. It is comforting to know that they are just a phone call away if I need them. OUTSTANDING :) Thank you Dr. Finnell and staff at Solutions for giving me a second chance at life!

My surgery was performed by Dr. Christopher Finnell in Wichita Falls, Texas. Dr. Finnell is a wonderful doctor with great bed-side manners. His whole staff is wonderful and very helpful. I have had to have several copies of my file sent to my employer and my insurance and Glinnis has been very helpful everytime with evertyhing. Gretchin (Dr. Finnell's nurse) is wonderful too. She is very supportive and very helpful with everything. I would highly recommend Dr. Finnell to anyone thinking of having WLS.

**** FOUR STARS FOR DR. BRETT MAY!

From the time I met the staff and up to the time I met Dr. May everyone was wonderful. Best of all Dr May treated me as if I were one of his family members. He checked on me three times a day. He is always open for quesitons or if I need help. He always explaines things when needed and even returns my phone calls personally. I would say that Dr. Brett May has been very thourough and excellent! I am very proud to have him as a doctor.

Well, first my sugeon is wonderful!! He never teated me like I was just money in his pocket or coming off an assembly line he cares so much he is never rushed or looking at his watch when you are with him I checked out several doctors in town and in Dallas and it is wonderful to have him right here by my hometown. His staff is always so nice and friendly and they are located in the hospital. Questions are always welcome and they are always so upbeat and positive. If I have insurance to food questions they never leave you hanging they call you right back or Dr. May says come on in. Since Dr. May is located in the hospital if something comes up after hours the wonderful staff that I had on the bariatric floor are there to answer questions and concerns also. Dr. May and his staff have as much concern 100% before during and after your surgery, I had high blood pressure that was rising before surgery and we made modifications and he explained everything so clear, it was like I was so relaxed on my surgery day, I would give them all an A+

He seems very young, but that can be great. He doesn't have a \"God\" attitude, but he has very recently been trained in the newest technology and procedures. I love the Solutions office staff, they are VERY polite, eager to help, and are great with all the paperwork. I think the most important thing a prospective patient should know is that both Finnell and May are in on every surgery performed through Solutions. Dr. Finnell was very open about my surgery choices and answered all my questions thoroughly. Solutions is working on an even more awesome aftercare program continuing their support groups but also adding nutritional encouragement, exercise equipment, etc.
