McCarty Weight Loss Center Bariatric Center

I had to change docs and was able to get in wo Dr. McCarty relatively quickly. And I had my surgery date within 2 weeks of insurance approval. He is an oncologist that became interested in bariatric surgery. So far I have been pretty impressed, however, most of my post-op info has been learned on my own. I was not given much in the way of specifics.

WOW!!!!!! What an awesome surgeon and person. He is the most compassionate person I have ever meet. The office staff was wonderful. My impression over time has only improved and gotten better. Dr. McCarty is very skilled, professional, and relaxed. His aftercare program is growing and improving. I would give him a 10!!!!!

I had my consultation with Dr. McCarty 12/18. He was very patient and open to all of my questions. He explained the proceedure in detail and why he does the type of proceedure that he does. It did take me over a half hour to be seen but that was the only "negative" about the appointment. That seems to be a common complaint in most doctors' offices so I won't judge him on that. His staff seemed very friendly and helpful. I look forward to having him do my wls.

My first impression of Dr. McCarty is an excellent one. I had to attend a seminar with him before he would schedule a consultation. I found the consultation very informative and helpful. I had an appointment with him three days later and I am very impressed with him. He had an office full of patients, but he listened to my questions and sat there patiently until he had answered them all. The office staff was polite, yet very busy and not quite as helpful as the doctor. He was very direct about the risks of surgery and told me about things that had happened during and after surgery for others. I felt that he was very direct, yet friendly.

My first impression of Dr McCarty is that he is a genuinely caring person.He's completely upfront and willing to answer any and all questions.He was very thorough in explaining the procedure,risks and after care of this surgery.He takes his time and makes sure you completely understand what you are getting into.
Without a doubt I know I have picked the best surgeon in this area to perform my surgery. I would highly recommend him.

Had my first consultation 1/10/01. Dr. McCarty was very kind, and took all the time in the world to make sure both my husband and I understood everything about the surgery.

Mr. Mcarthy is very young and nice looking he is somewhat new to the surgery but he performed on a friend of mind who recently advertise his work on a local news channel so she highly recomends him and she is doing fine. His staff is excellent very kind and patient

he hasbeen a great help and has had no problem answering my questions. the staff is also wonderful he was referred to me my a woman that i work with.
