The Bariatric Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital Bariatric Center
Looked like someone I could my trust into.
I found that my first impression was exactly right on.
Could be better
There is nothing I don't like about him so far.
He is very detailed, dots every eye and crosses his Ts
Very much
yes, he has a whole group set up to help you through
everything.
Yes, made sure I knew exactly what I was getting into
a 10 being best He is an 11
I would say definetly both
My first impression was that he is disorganized (I waited an hour past my appointment time and was very perturbed since I was on my lunch hour). Once I got in the office though, I found out why. He is extremely patient and freely answers any question you have, no matter how long it takes. His office staff is great except the receptionist who, in my opinion, desperately needs better people skills. The whole St. Joseph Hospital program emphasizes aftercare with a nutritionist visit every six weeks, two support groups per month and a personal trainer available to any patient who wants to take advantage of his knowledge and skills. Dr. Hamamji is a nice guy who wants to make sure that his patients have very carefully considered what they are about to do and that they are realistic about the results. I was somewhat concerned about the fact that he has only been doing bariatric surgery for about one year but that was balanced by the fact that he's been doing other types of abdominal surgery for fifteen years.
Friendly, professional & mild mannered.
He's very good, informative.
Friendly but needs to work on patient waiting time in the office.
If you will ask, he will do his best to explain your question. Very friendly and easy going.
