Dr. Sowemimo did a great job on my surgery. I have had no complications and I've lost 47lbs in 3 1/2 months! I would highly recommend Dr. Sowemimo and the gastric sleeve!

Dr. Sowemimo is very professional and caring. He is an expert in his field and I'm so greatful that I was referred to him by my friend. He's patient, taking the time to listen to your concerns and answer questions. He is accepting of your current health state and does not judge you for it. He truly wants to help you regain your health and take back your life. He doesn't just operate and run, he continues to be available to you and offers continued support with monthly support groups. Dr. Sean is the best!

Dr. Sowemimo and his staff provided the support and encouragement I needed to get through the pre-op process, surgery and post-op. My surgery was on 3/11/13 and I couldn't be happier with everything. Most important is that Dr. Sowemimo is an excellent surgeon and I had no worries about the procedure. His staff couldn't be more pleasant to work with. They answered all my questions, both before and after surgery. Now I'm on the road to my permanent weight loss and I couldn't be happier with the experience thanks to everyone at Central Jersey Bariatrics. I give them a 5-star rating and would recommend them to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

Dr. Seun put in my LapBand 2 1/2 years ago. Last week Dr. Seun removed the band and revised to the sleeve. I have always felt total trust in Dr. S. as a surgeon and feel he is a genuine person. He always spent time with me to truly "listen" to my struggles and concerns and to offer support without ever being condescending or patronizing. Additionally I felt that he accepted the fact that I was in tune with my own body and and even when we didn't necessarily agree on something (i.e. discharge from hospital lol) he respected my viewpoint and allowed me to take an active and responsible part of my own care. His office staff is also friendly, professional and treat every patient with respect and kindness. I am optimistic that I will do better with the sleeve but this makes me a little sad as I will not be at the Central Bariatric Office for regular fills and adjustments.

There are no words that can define my complete satisfaction with Dr. Sowemimo and the supporting staff of Central Jersey Bariatrics. I had a lap band surgery at CJB before Dr. Sowemimo was part of the practice. After many fills, un-fills and other complications, Dr. Sowemimo counseled me about getting the sleeve. After many talks and exploring my options, together, we decided that it was time to do away with the band. He suggested that I wait 3 months before being sleeved to give the stomach time to calm. During that time, I met with Julie Parrott (for nutrition and vitamin counseling). I also attended a support group that was led by Julie with Dr. Sowemimo in attendance. The steps that led to surgery went smoothly, every question and issue were addressed by the office staff in a prompt, pleasant & courteous manner. My surgery was at Centra State Hosp., in Freehold, NJ...Dr. Sowemimo did what I think is a superb job, my hospital stay was fine (sorry...I don't like hospitals...but everyone there was really great), there were no problems or complications. The following day went smoothly and upon a visit from Dr. Sowemimo, I was allowed to go home. I will continue to follow up with Dr. Sowemimo and his office for the future. If you are considering Central Jersey Bariatrics...I would highly recommend them, hands down. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Sowemimo. He has the nicest way about him, gentle, best bed side manner, sincere (the man really does to have it all together!) and I doubt there is anyone that could disagree.

I had gastric bypass, hernia repair and gallbladder removal 6 months ago. My recovery wasn't easy lots of nausea, pain. Dr. Sowemimo visited me everyday in the hospital and gave me so much encouragement!!, He was awesome. My family told me post surgery he came out told them everything went well and answered all their questions. I am now down about 70 lbs and look and feel awesome. Some of my friends don't even recognize me. I definitely made the right choice, and would do over again in a heartbeat . Dr Sowemimo is the best. I highly recommend him to any one considering WLS. His office staff are great and answer all your questions. They were wonderful in getting insurance approval. Thank you Dr Sowemimo you've changed my life!!!!! Thank you.

I had the Gastric Sleeve done a couple of weeks ago. So far I am doing fantastic and that is because I had the best surgeon... Dr. Seaun; I was really fortunate to have him perform my surgery. Not only is he very knowledgeable and compassionate, he truly takes the time to understand the needs of each of his patients and works so hard to fulfill them. I in fact I had already recommended him to my sister-in-law who is dealing with her weight. When I started this journey, I was very lost and confused about what my choices were or even what to do but once I attended the Seminar with Dr Seaun everything was explained to me along with the steps that I should follow if decided to continue. Truly the whole team at Central Jersey Bariatrics is awesome and they really work hard to make sure each patient gets the help they need. I always carry a couple of his cards with me so when I meet people that are considering to take this step I encourage them to visit Dr Seaun. I assure you there will be no regrets! Thank God because he put this Magnificient Dr Seaun to take care of me . To all the team of Central Jersey Bariatrics THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Keep up the good work . Dr. Seun and his team go far beyond expectations of the patient. I started my journey with Dr. Seun and his team over a year ago and they stood by me from my very first inquiry about their office. From reception, all the way up to seeing the Dr. service was impeccable. Joan and Jess did thorough research with my insurance company prior to me coming in to meet with Dr. Seun for the first time, they intercepted all of my phone calls and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I was finally sleeved on March 6 2013, and from the moment I saw Dr. Seun's face in the pre-op area, I knew everything was going to be okay! The way he greets me feels so much at ease and puts a huge smile on my face all of the time. I know I am in good care, when I'm under his supervision! He even was able to take out my gallbladder under emergency circumstances back in January, and even then my friends and family fell in love with him too! He's definitely a doctor who knows who you are, you are not just one more of his patients, I believe he takes genuine concern over each one of us and that is what makes him special! He answered all of my questions, all of my family's questions, thoroughly explained to them procedures, and guidelines to follow. He came to see me after I woke up from being sleeved, and before I was released to go home on March 7. There are too many good things I can say about Dr. Seun, and clearly not enough time in my day! He has great bedside manner, great patient-Dr. rapport, easy to talk to, shows genuine concern over your specific needs! Just an all around A+++ of a person, and an A+++++++++ of a Dr. Thanks so much Dr. Seun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Several months after my surgery and its going great. No problems at all. feeling healthy, love looking in the mirror getting active with my kids and family again. This procedure has made a diffrence in my life so much so that now my husband is also having the procedure. We both look forward to a ne lifestyle and a very long and healthy life together.
