Dr. DeBarros's and his staff were great. I had my first consultation in June and the have made me feel very comfortable with my choice to go with WLIA.

Dr DeBarros is an excellent Dr and surgeon. He takes time to explain procedure and answers all questions thoroughly. He is funny and has down to earth approach. He truly wants what is best for his patients however if you don't meet his expectations he can be very intimidating.
His staff is wonderful !!

Great nursing and diet counseling staff.
Office is way too busy.
Need updated amounts owed at each appointment (for next appointment).
Clean facilities.

I actually had the Lap Band surgery performed by another doctor, but am switching to WLIA under the care of Dr. DeBarros. At first I thought Dr. DeBarros was going to be too serious, but he ended up just being very direct with a sense of humor. His staff is friendly, polite, informative and patient. I loved working with staff regarding my billing and insurance questions. The hours of availability and location were the main reason I have switched to WLIA, but after meeting with the staff, I wish I would have gone through them for the whole procdure! The only downfall is how busy they are. With so many people wanting to utilize their services, I'm relying on cancelations to be seen sooner :/

I love that Dr. DeBarros has had the procedure himself so he KNOWS what he is talking about. I appreciate his straightforward style. But more importantly I appreciate his caring and helpful staff. They are amazing!

I met Dr. DeBarros at a seminar and found him to be extremely informative. I made an appointment and he addressed all the risks of surgery and could not emphasize enough about aftercare, especially the risks. Dr. DeBarros has a great bedside manner and treats every patient as if he/she is the only patient in the office. The staff is very supportive and takes the time to answer any questions. My best impression? He has been patient with me. I have been wanting this for over three years and because of time, money, and fate, it has prevented me from having this happen. I would tell future patients to LISTEN and FOLLOW the instructions given to you. Dr. DeBarros takes a no-nonsense approach. He has your best interest in mind and wants you to succeed, but you need to be responsible as well.

I have had an amazing experiance going to WLIA not only is Dr. DeBarros great but the staff is also amazing. I have learned a lot of great eating techniques, they also worked with my insurance and walked me through the process from start to finish. I have and never will regret going to WLIA.

Dr DeBarros is the greatest. He knows exactly what I am going through and eases the anxiety I have about the surgery. I feel very confident in his abilities and whould not hesitate to recommend him and WLIA to friends and family members. My son had lap band surgery 6 months ago and is doing very well and he actually recommended WLIA. The Staff is caring and very good at what they do. Dr DeBarros is the best.

I am so grateful I found Dr. DeBarros and WLIA because they are helping me on my weight loss journey. The majority of my family members do not know I am doing this process so it is very important that I have their support and know they are there for me. I do not feel embaresed to them anything private because they understand totally and have heard it before. Dr. D has a great sense of humor, I always come out of the office laughing and in a better mood than I went in. Thanks WLIA!!!
