I was so impressed with the entire staff at University of Penn. My initial appt. was over 2 hours and Dr. Williams spent quite a bit of time with me.rnHis bed side manner is great too, good sense of humor and he is careful which I like.rnThey covered everything from how I would bed eating to risk essement and helped me to understand what would be happening to my body and that this is not a so called \"QUICK FIX\". rnI definitley like him.rnrnPOST OP- This is an increadible/compassionate man. When I was in pre-op he was worried he would not be able to do surgery becasue of possible adhesions. I was the last surgery of the day and instead of giving up or rushing he took an extra 1 1/2 hours to clean out every adhesion so I could have my dream. He is kind, caring and has the best bed side manner I have seen in a surgeon, since my spinal surgeon Dr. Vaccarro at Jefferson.rnrn

Dr. Kirkland made me fill like i was very important and that my health and acheivement matter to him. His clinic and staff were excellent. I would refer him to anyone wanting the lapband.rn

My first impression of Dr. Kirkland was a very positive one. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He throughly explained the procedure and associated risks and asked if I had any questions. I didn't see him again until the day of surgery, but contacts in the hosptial all had very positive things to say. I would highly recommend him!

I adore Dr. Wernsing!rnrnMy first impression of him was that he was polite but reserved. All business. The longer I know him, the more I like him. He's warm and supportive. A really good guy. And an excellent surgeon. I've trusted him with my life more than once now. rnrnMy WLS was 10/31/06 and he also just took out my gall bladder and did a biopsy on me recently (July 07).rnrnI cannot recommend Dr. Wernsing highly enough.

Dr. Williams is a very soft spoken man, but very considerate and compassionate. He addresses all of your concerns and does not leave until your comfortable with the answers he has given.rnrnThe before and after care programs are phenominal. There is a list of contacts that you can reach in his office at any given time to address any concerns you may have.rnrnI absolutely felt safe and extremely comfortable that Dr. Williams was not going to let anything happen to me and after surgery he was just as compassionate and caring.rnrnI can't honestly say one negative thing about Dr. Williams, his support team or the hospital and staff. My whole experience was incredible

Very professional, patient and knowledgable. I would recommend him as a surgeon. My fist impression of Dr Williams was that he was very knowledgable and professional. Dr Williams and his staff work as a well oiled machine from what I can tell. My only tidbit for new patients is to know that you won't really see much of Dr Williams, his staff really handles the patients and addresses most patient concerns. But when it counts (Durning Surgery) Dr Williams stands and delivers great results.

Very impressed with Dr Williams. Saw little of him, but impressed none the less. Staff was very nice, like a well run machine, but nice at the same time.rnrnRating AAAA+

I got a great impression from the whole staff.rnI recieved so much information and felt safe.rnI also loved that they are so concerned about after care, the long term. Going to support groups, following through to keep it off, they are not all about just making money.rnrnThe hardest part was seeing so many people on the first day without know I was going to ahead of time.

Dr. Matt Kirkland is a well-respected surgeon. He is very well spoken and has answers to any question that you may have regarding bariatric surgery. Many people speak very highly of him and from what I could tell from meeting him, I believe I will have a lot of nice things to say about him as well.
