Prisma Health Wt Management Ctr Columbia Bariatric Center
I met Dr. Tribble prior to my initial consult for bariatric surgery. He was called in to assist my OB/Gyn in an abdominal hysterectomy. My OB/Gyn was very confident in Dr. Tribble so I never felt there was a need to choose or dileberate over my choice of surgeon. I had also met Dr. Prickett at the seminar for bariatric surgery in December 2008. Immediately, I knew that both were extremely good at their work and my life would be in good hands. We still have a long road to go but I am glad to have a surgeon I feel so comfortable with.
Dr. Prickett and Dr. Tribble are WONDERFUL!!!!

My first impression of Dr. Tribble was very positive. He seemed very caring and enthusiastic about how he could help people. My impression of him has remained positive through the process. The whole program at Palmetto Health Baptist Weight Management Center is very much centered around education and they are adamant that you understand that this is a tool.
He was very professional and concerned. Outstanding surgeon. His only downfall was his bedside manor. He is a very serious man but with my life in his hands I guess that is a good thing. My surgery was a huge success starting at 360 lbs. and now 1 year later I weigh in at 175 lbs. and feeling great. It was a struggle at first for about 8 mths., but now it was worth everything. Overall this is a great surgeon and a great life savor. He is one that I would reccomend to anyone.
I really like Dr. Prickett and his staff, I have recommended him to those who have inquired about surgery. He is sincere but straight up about the surgery and it's dangers. He is very committed to his work, it shows that he cares very much about helping people. His staff is wonderful, I can't say enough about Judy Stuck. rnrnThe office program is outstanding, the team on staff, nutritionist, behavioral therapist, exercise therapist, etc is on point, and available anytime! Even years out!!! That's service at it's best.
Dr. Tribble just did a cholecystectomy on me 3 days ago and I feel great. Two days post-op I was able to go to church without difficulty and climb stairs. I have minimal bruising. I did have a mild sore throat but that was from being intubated, not from the surgery. He found a cyst while in surgery and after talking with my husband, had an OB come in and remove it right then..yeah! He is an excellent surgeon and highly recommended by other OR nurses.
All of the staff at the weight loss clinic are amazing. They always have made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They did an excellent job in assuring me through every step of the process. Dr. Prickett and his RNP Judy we wonderful. The have a very structured program at the weight loss center both prior and post surgery. Everyone at this office is highly competent and has an excellent bedside manner.
Drs Prickett and Tribble have a wonderful office staff. Everyone from Tenessa, their exercise therapist to Judy the surgery coordinator has been great. They've been great to accomodate my schedule, since I drive over 200 miles one way to see them for each appointment, and I really appreciate that. They've been very up front and honest with me about the risks and complications, but equally optimistic about the outcomes and benefits. I'm looking forward to working with them as the process continues. rnrnUpdate: Well, I'm about 11 weeks out from surgery, and so far I'm about -70 lbs down! I'm so grateful to have had a skillful and caring surgeon such as Dr. Prickett (and thanks too for the great assist, Dr. Tribble!) - if you are a patient of either of these fine surgeons, you're in great hands indeed!
OK I finally meant my surgeon and I must say that I was so impressed. My father who is 65 yo went with me and the Dr took the time to explain to him the surgery and the role that he might have to play after I have the surgery. i guess I did not know that my dad was nervous about the surgery but I honestly think that after the visit with Dr. Tribble he is more at ease with the whole process. Dr. Tribble took time to answer any and all questions that we both had and explained why he thought that I was an excellent candidate for the bypass surgery. I am so very excited. This being my first time to actually meet Dr. Tribble I can say that it was a pleasure I did not get any bad vibes from him or anything.

My first impression of Dr. Prickett was that he was a man on a mission to help his patients and make sure they were doing the right thing by their needs and lifestyle.rnrnDr. Prickett's staff have never been anything other than wonderful. I have an 11 1/2 month old son tagging along with me and they were great about it the entire time. They are by far the most awesome group of ladies ever.rnrnI have nothing negative to say about Dr. Prickett or his staff.rnrnFuture patients should know that he is going to be upfront with you and let you know all the details while still caring about your needs and wants. He is very thurough in the details of the surgery.rnrnEverything is great about this man and his staff.
