My first Impression of Dr Wood was very good. He is very informative and has a great sense of humor making me laugh. He is also very confident in his patients and takes his time going over options with you. For the very first time i felt very secure talking to a surgeon and knowing that i'm putting trust in him.

I was referred to Dr Wood through a friend and i must say everything she raved about is absolutley what i felt my first time meeting with him and his staff.

I was also impressed by Dr. Wood's staff , everyone was very nice and made me feel compfortable. I'm so happy that i've made this decision to improve the quality of my life.

Dr Wood is a very caring, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I liked him the first time I met him. His office staff is very helpful as well. I am pleased with my choice in my surgeon and would recommended him to all.

My first impression of Dr. Webber was great. he was friendly and informative. His appointments are very quick though, so if you have questions you should right them down so you don't forget them.

During Surgery I only saw Dr. Webber once, that was right before surgery. He didn't do any of my follow up care in the hospital. His partners did all of that, but they were wonderful.

After I went home I had some complications and I was able to speak DIRECTLY to Dr. Webber on the phone which was amazing to me. He helped me with my issue, and I saw him the following week. That appointment I felt rushed, but he could have been having a bad day, and I definitely was.

The next 2 appointments I was able to ask all of my questions and he was the same friendly informative doctor that he was when I had met him.

The office staff so far has been wonderful, they always return my phone calls, and they have worked with me very well, before and after surgery!

Well my Surgeon is young and just thinks his stuff dont stink, very arrogant. I do want to thank him for doing a great job on my surgery and he did not open me all the way.
But what turned me off about him was after when he completely just ignore me and my mom while we was talking to him just walked away and nurse. No good bedside manners either. Way to go Dr Webber . MY rate for you would be a 5 right now. Your staff have now manners either. and the hosptial stay it sucked I would never ask any of my friends or family to stay at this Hospital. Never.

My first impression of Dr. Wood that he is a no nonsense, straight forward man. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He takes time to answer all of your questions, no matter how long it takes. He was a joy to meet and I am so happy he did my surgery. His surgical competence and bedside manner were great, I have no complaints.

DR.WOOD AND HIS STAFF WERE AWESOME UPON FIRST IMPRESSION. EVERYONE LISTENED TO ALL QUESTIONS AND THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE. HE ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS THAT I WAS GOING TO ASK BEFORE I COULD ASK THEM.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE IN THE METRO DETROIT, MI AREA

I am curently awaiting aproval from my insurance company however i met with Dr John Webber back in October of 2008 and he and his staff were great & a joy to speak with. sense then i have been working with his clinical cordinators to help meet the criteria that my insurance company require to approve surgery!

Dr. Wood was concerned and dedicated to weight loss and healthy life style for his patients. You could actually see his caring in his eyes. He has a well organized office and staff. They provide you with all the information, teaching and referrals necessary. My insurance was well known for denying bariatric surgery of any kind, in fact my regular physician told me to give up because it was impossible to get it approved. Dr Woods office got mine approved less than a week after I submitted all the preop requirements. They walked me through the whole process! He has a good before and aftercare program. Dr. Wood has a lovely bedside manner and is well known for his surgical expertise. He and his staff are great!
