Dr. Roller was great in helping me decide whether to do the RNY or the band without pressuring me towards a particular one. He patiently explained the pros and cons of each one. Asked what my expectations and fears were and helped me make a choice that I feel will be best for me.rnrnDr. Roller is passionate about bariatric surgery and helping his patients succeed.
The very first impression of Dr. Roller was he is very straight forward and honest with his pts. He came highly recommended to me and i am glad i went to the seminar. The seminar was great, and he stresses how important it is for the follow up care to be done with your surgeon. The office staff is great and always more than happy to help with all my many questions. His program has 2 dieticians, a psychologist, a medical doctor- Dr. Kristin Roller that helps with evaluating the patients and ordering labs.- She's great!!! They have monthly support group meetings. I can't say enough about this clinic, it is top of the line. I encourage anyone in the area to check it out. rn
He was very nice and very competent. The office was like a spa and I felt very at ease there, not like any Dr.'s office I have ever been to. Dr. Roller exhibits the expertise and confidence without arrogance that made me feel good about my decision to go forward with the surgery. He is very adamant that everyone follow up regularly and he keeps in contact with all his patients post operatively. I spoke with one of his post op patients that told me he is very thorough with the pre op risks and consents. He has knowledge and a great bedside manner. I think that Dr. Roller delivers a much needed service to NW Arkansas and he will be very successful here because of the time he takes with his patients and the follow up care is unike any other I have seen. The only negative thing that I had to mention is that he just started and I was worried that he was inexperienced because he is so young but he assured me and my husband that he has the case load to back up his knowledge and he has not only done well over 150 cases in North Carolina where he trained but he has done nearly 50 here since August. I have spoken with many of his patients and they all love him and credit him with giving them their health back. I am sure this is how I will feel in a year.
My surgeon was and is the best!! He was nice, thoughtful, explained everything, answered all my questions and had a sense of humor. He has a great bed side manner. I am so thankful he came into NWArk. rnHe was a lifesaver and changed my life forever. I can't say enough about him, he just is wonderful. rnI will recommend him to everyone. If you are looking for a Bariatric surgeon, look no farther. rnI did not had any problems with my surgery or during the recovery period. The medical ailments that I had prior to surgery are almost all gone. I have stopped taking some of my medication, but the best thing is I feel GREAT. rnHe has a terrific program. You see him and a dietician at every visit. That made me feel like I was truely going to be taken care of. Another doctor I checked out, before I found Dr. Roller, well you only saw him and had to find a dietician on your own. Having everyone there at once is better. rnHe will focus on before and after care. He wants all his surgery patients to achieve their weight loss goals.
My first impresstion is the same as now. Dr. Roller is a very pleasant Dr. He knows what he is doing and what he is talking about. My husband at first didn't want me to have the surgery. But after attending my doctors visit and talking with Dr. Roller, he changed his mind. He was impressed. He said Dr. Roller made him feel very comfortable and answered all the questions he had. My surgery went really well. Dr Roller also follows up with his patients. He or his nurse answer your phone calls immediately. No question is bothersome or stupid. He is very careful to cover all aspects of the surgery with his patients. Not only the good stuff but he will also tell you things that could go wrong. rnI would highly recommend him to anyone wanting surgery.
Dr. Roller is genuinely concerend about his patients. His office staff is well organized and nice. Dr. Roller has always had time to listen to me and my concerns from the very beginning. He is very thorough with his care. After three years of complaining of right side pain he is the only Dr. that discovered that I have a fatty liver from being obese. He has great bed side manner. He explained the lap band procedure risk and benefits and explained the differences with the full bypass so I could make the right decision for my self. I would recommened Dr. Roller to anyone!
My surgeon is Dr. Josh Roller. He is the nicest man you will ever meet and he is straight forward with you. I am really happy he came to NWA. We needed some one like him here.rnI so appreciate him and the ladies in his office, they are all wonderful and supportive.rnrnDr. Roller, his wife, Wendi, Ann and Mari are all very awesome people and they make you feel special and they generally care about you and your health and what you are going thru.rnrnYou will never meet a better group of people or professionals. I love and adore them all and that is no joke...
