My first impression of Dr. Bellanger was WOW! He explained everything all of the procedures that he does and then he meets with everyone individually. The office staff was very helpful and nice. St. Elizabeths Hospital is awesome. I have never been to a hospital where i had such a great experience. the staff there is great! Dr. Bellanger emphasizes after strongly! I had a sleeve gastrectomy and i have not regretted having the procedure done or having Dr. Bellanger do it.
I liked Dr. Bellanger from the first time I met him. He took his time explaining the risks with VSG and how important aftercare is. He is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor with a great bedside manner. They have support group meetings around the LA area, but since I live over 2 hours away I am not able to attend them. I would have to give Dr. B a 10 for being such a great surgeon and I am glad he is the one who performed my life changing surgery!!!
Dr. Bellanger and his office were great. Going in for the first time I was anxious. They totally made me feel at ease. Dr. Bellanger answered all of my questions. Waiting to go into surgery, I was so nervous. Dr. Bellanger's bedside manner was excellent. I would recommend Dr. Drake Bellanger to anyone.
Dr. Bellanger was pleasant but not much of a talker. He basically answered the questions that I asked him. However, he was thorough in answering my questions. ice staff was very pleasant. My favorite was Maria C. There was one person who would not return phone calls (won't name). Over all I think he is a good Doctor. On Some things I think I slipped through the cracks. Allot of the information from the staff seemed to be a rushed process. I did not get any information on support groups or other resources. I would rate the office an 7 of 10. Even though Dr. Bellanger wasn't a giver of information. He gave me ample time to ask any questions and he answered them.
Dr. Bellanger is straight forward, down to earth and very personable. His staff was very kind and professional.
Dr. Bellanger was a wonderful surgeon. He has an excellent bedside manner! The office staff and the staff at St. Elizabeths were wonderful!
My first impression of Dr Bellanger was that he was knowledgeable and informative on the different types of WLS performed at his facility. To this date, my impression hasn't changed. Aftercare is emphasized and there are support groups available. Surgery risks were discussed during the initial seminar, and he and his staff were more than willing to answer any questions or concerns I had post op. I'd rate Dr. Bellanger a 10 based on the success I've had as well as the availability of he and his staff.
I was a bit hesitant when I began my journey with WLS. After hearing a radio commercial for NeWeigh, I called and made an appointment, unsure of what I would find and what I would decide to do. My first initial appointment came. I brought my health history and probably every piece of research I could find on the internet, along with my WLS notebook. Well, I was immediately put at ease with Dr. Bellnager and his staff. I asked so many questions, then came back 3 other times with my mother, best friend and husband so they could ask questions too. Dr. Bellanger was honest in his feedback. I opted for the Adjustable Lap Band. I've recommended 5 other people for WLS and I always tell them to call Dr. Bellanger. I lost almost 100 pounds and went from a size 22-24 to a 10. I found myself enjoying my daughter, shopping for clothes, and particpating in activities more. After 18 months post op, I became pregnant with my 2nd child. My pregnancy was \"textbook\" and I felt great, unlike my first pregnancy. rnWhen anyone ever asks, \"would you do it again?\" My answer is always an adament...\"I'D DO TOMORROW!\" rnrnWith my band, Dr. Bellanger has given me a tool to be not only successful in weight loss, but in all realms of my life!!!!
