My first impression of him was that he was very knowledgeable. My impression remained the same all throughout. His office staff is very professional, they answer your questions and phone calls thoroughly and quickly. Future patients should know that his expertise is genuine. Aftercare is strongly suggested for the best results. He did address all of the risks of surgery in a very reassuring manner. Overall I rated him as a 5 star surgeon because I put my faith in him and I was glad that I did. His bedside manner and his surgical competence were both A plus in my book. For my surgery there isn't a thing I would do differently. I consider myself very fortunate to have had this opportunity to experience such a proficient surgeon.

Before lapband surgery with Dr. Garber I had difficulty walking up stairs. I was always out of breath and I felt as if I was "bursting" out of my skin. Now that I lost the weight I am able to do so much more and I have my energy back. For the first time in a long time I am proud of myself.
