New Image Bariatric Surgical Associates Bariatric Center

I first met Dr Coon when he performed my wife's bypass surgery, throughout here recovery he has supervised her loss of over 200 pounds. rnOne day he asked me if I ever considered surgery for a lapband, after looking into it I decided to have it done. And on June 9th 2009 Dr Coon gave me the lapband surgery. rnI have never met a more dedicated and caring doctor in my entire 69 years of life. He is truely a gifted and knowledgeable doctor. He attends all of our support group meetings and is truely interested in everyone who has had the surgery regardless of where it was performed. rnrnThank you Doctor Coon.

Hi my name is Linda Adams and I live in Copperas Cove Tx. now,3 years ago we lived in Ca.and this is where I met Dr Coon.It was one of the most important days of my life, you see had I not meet him then I would not be here now.I had gastric by pass 3 years ago and have lost 115 pounds. His patients and his bed side manner is one of the thing impressed us the most.He explains and answers every question you have.Even if you leave and go home and call right back. With all of the illness I had at the time I was afraid. But now I see light at the end of the tunnel for me.Thanks Dr Coon Linda

My first impression was that his office staff is very nice and helpful. Dr. Coon is also nice, knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable talking to him and asking him questions.rnrnWhen I had my surgery Dr. Coon was great. I had complications but he took good care of me. When I was in the hospital he came to see me often to make sure I was ok. 2 weeks after my surgery I had additional complications and had to go back to the hospital for a small procedure. He came to see me than and it was 10:30pm. I asked him what he was doing in this neck of the woods, and his reply was I had to make sure you were doing all right before the day ended. rnI would recomend him. He has very good bedside manner. He even took out my sutchers so I didn't have to wait for the nurses.

Dr. Coon was very nice during my consultation, he even let my daughter play with a lap band! LOL! He made me feel very comfortable and the office staff are great! He spent about an hour going over everything with me, and ladies in the office made sure I knew exactly what to do to get this process moving along! rnrnSugery went very well Dr. Coon did a wonderfull job. My insisions look great, he is very nice and comforting. He came in before surgery to assure me everything was going to be fine. He sat and talked to my husband for a bit then came in after surgery to let me know how everything went.

Dr. Coon took over for Dr. Terry Sanderfer, who did my RNY Distal surgery in July, 2003. Dr. Coon has an excellent bedside manner and really seems to care about his patients. He definately takes the time to listen to you and addresses each of your concerns. I have never had a problem with the staff and feel they are wonderful too.

very Professional, very informative, over time I felt more relaxed with him..The staff is amazing down to earth ..The after care is great and he holds a monthly meeting for Weight Loss Patients and the attendence is great at these meeting and he has different speakers every month.rnHow would I rate him 10+rnHis bedside manner and surgical competence are A+

Dr. Coon is great and very compasionate. He likes to tell interesting storys, and never makes you feel rushed during appointments. Very impressed with his bedside hospital manners. He truely cares, even came to see me twice one day when I was running a slight fever. He also came in at 9:30 PM on a Sunday because I wanted to go home that night. rnrnHis staff is also very friendly, but sometimes pre-op, I think they could have been better at returning calls.

Although Dr. Coon did not do my procedure, I have had the opportunity to meet with him since he took over the practice for my surgeon and I look forward to working with him over the years. rnrnMy original surgeon was absolutely great and I am truly blessed to have had such a great pair of hands giving me the tool I needed to become the person I am today. rnrnDr. Coon worked extensively with my surgeon and that is one reason why I know I can have the confidence in him that I do. I doubt I will see him often but I know when and if I do that he will do what he feels is necessary to care for me completely. rnrn
