I have met twice with my surgeon, Dr. Daniel Herron, and he seems very kind, patient and low-key. He was very willing to take time to answer my questions and those of my husband, who was with me.

His nurse/coordinator, Bernadette, is a sweetie and very helpful. They handled all the insurance contacts, and I was approved after one letter.

The only negative element so far has been that some of the administrative staff (NOT the medical staff) tends to be abrupt, both on the phone and when you show up for an appointment, almost to the point of rudeness. Also, waiting times tend to be long.

He had done many WLS.

He was very inpersonal, like I was a number not a person.

Office staff are the BEST!

He seemed to care but much to busy. I always felt rush and my questions seemed foolish to him. He also only wanted to here of peroblem refering to his surgery. He would just refer me to other Doctors.

He is very good surgon but his bedside mannor is very poor.

He emphasize aftercare in every vist.

He aftercare is kind of read and do if you have questions just call.

Strongly and detailed all my risks.

From one to 10, I would give him an 8.

I would have liked both, it was very emotional and felt like I was alone.
