Dr. Diaz is wonderful! He seems very genuine and concerned about you. The office staff at St Vincents are also very nice. He definitely emphasizes aftercare and going to support groups. He also explained the risks of surgery very well....no sugar coating it. Overall, I would rate him a 10! He is responsible for starting me out on my new journey to a happier, healthier life. I can't say enough good things about him! I'm only a few days out and I don't regret a thing!
Met Chris in January 2009 at the seminar at ST V Carmel. Friend of mine had him for his surgeon yr and half ago and spoke of nothing but the best for him. Thats what i want if I am going to do this. He is experienced and I await connecting to him again during my surgery.
What was your first impression of him/her? I was very impressed. I worked with Dr. Inman on occasion in surgery several years ago and was always impressed with her knowledge and expertise. rnrnHow would you describe his/her office staff? Her staff have always been very professional and courteous. My calls are always returned in a timely manner.rnrnWhat did you like least about him/her? I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Inman. She's an excellent physician and I'd give her a 100% rating.rnrnWhat should future patients know about him/her? Dr. Inman is a very busy surgeon with a very busy practice. She's all business. She will take the time to answer all of your questions but she's not one to sit and chit chat.rnrnHow much does he/she emphasize aftercare? They are excellent with aftercare and follow-up.rnrnDoes he/she have a structured aftercare program? Yes.rnrnHow did he/she address the risks of surgery? Everything was written out and explained orally.rnrnHow would you rate him/her overall? Excellent! 100%rnrnWhich is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great? Surgical competence is the most important. I don't want someone working on me if they don't know what they're doing no matter how nice they may be. Bedside manner is important too if for no other reason than to make the patient feel comfortable.rnrnrn
Dr. Evanson is the greatest. I hate calling his office, but I hate calling any Dr. office. The office staff is very helpful. I have sent several patients to Dr. Evanson for their WLS. rnrnDr. Evanson is a 10/10
Very knowledgable and pleasant. Took her time answering all of my questions and helped me make my decision. Had met with other surgeons before her and there is no comparison. Dr. Inman is wonderful. Her reputation is outstanding. Office personnel have been very helpful as well and do a good job at keeping me informed.
I'm very impressed with Dr. Diaz. He is so friendly. He really makes me feel like I'm important to him. I picked the best surgeon there's no doubt about it. He's a perfect fit. I had some issues after I had my surgery. I'm so glad that I waited on Dr. Diaz, because if I would have listened to the other surgeon she would have made it worse. Dr. Diaz knew exactly what I should do and 3 days later I feel awesome! Plus I like that he is better safe than sorry. I would rate him a 10!!! His nurse is wonderful also. If you are looking for a terrific surgeon look no farther....Dr. Diaz is the best!
I like Dr Diaz. He is personable yet to the point--I like that. I have had my surgery and on post-op visit. I like the way the visits are orchestrated. I see the Dietitian first and go through my food journal. She makes suggestions in writing and gives me a copy. I take it with me to my Dr visit and Dr Diaz reviews it with me and answers any questions I have. I value his surgical competence and his bedside manner. I like a doc who tells me like it is--no flowery stuff, just plain and to the point (no-nonsense approach). I would say that Dr Diaz fits me perfectly.
Dr. Evanson is a wonderful surgeon who gives it to you straight. He is passionate about weight loss surgery and has told me many times he feels it is his true calling after being a trauma surgeon for everal years. Dr. Evanson believes strongly in aftercare and follow up. I felt very informed prior to my surgery as far as what to expect not just the days after surgery, but the months and years after as well. Dr. Evanson and the team at St. Vincent's are awesome! I traveled four hours because I knew their care was far superior to what I would receive in my own town.
