Memorial Weight Loss Center of New Mexico Bariatric Center
I met him for the first time today, the day before my surgeon. He was very personable. Actually sencerily apologized for keeping me waiting and even though I knew he had other people to see he did not rush me and his time seemed focused on me and my questions.rn
I met the surgeon for the first time at my preop visit. I really think he understands obesity and wanting to get healthy. He really enjoys patients that are well educated in the process and people that ask lots of questions. The office staff is great. The educator/nutritionist is wonderful. You can call anytime to get information or ask questions about what is good/bad for you and the band.
Dr. Frank Felts had a very empathetic and patient bedside manner. He was patient and answered all of my questions without acting like I was just a number on his patient roster. He tried very diligently to do what he could to help me get the lapband without jeopardizing my health, any more than I had already damaged it with an unhealthy lifestyle. His wife works at his office and will even be there on surgery day if you are alone and need support on the big day. Regina in his office is an entity unto herself, supportive, kind, and an excellent sense of humor. No one acts like you are weak or less than human like some medical practioners can act at times. He is so worth the drive from Atlanta, TX to Richardson, Tx. I would rate him as a strong 9/9.5, no one is perfect but he and his office are very close.
