havent met him yet but the people at livlite contacted me and in 2 weeks i was on my way to wls. they are so awesome

I was very impressed with Dr. Nazarian. He was personable, confident and seemed at ease with the whole procedure itself. (He should, I realize, but I mean that he even put ME more at ease.) He explained everything thoroughly and did answer most of my questions, but he seemed a bit hurried--more than I'd expected. Someone somewhere told me (or I read) that this would be an hour-long consultation. It wasn't. It was more like 20 minutes. I will ask the remainder of my questions when I see him again 4 days before the surgery. All in all, though, I feel very good about him as a surgeon and happy with my decision.

From the start, I knew that I had made the right decission. He and his staff was and is awsome. At times, i can be a bite too persnickity, and he did answered all of my questions and then some. He didn't make me feel like I was asking dumb questions, on the contrary, he made me feel as if my questions were important and that I was smart about the surgery. As time went on, this is what I came to see in him on a regular. A doctor that paid attention to you and made your visit with him seem important to both parties. The main issue that I have with him is the fact that he is so popular and very good that your appointment time, might not be observed. I have waited at one time three hours just to see him. That could be viewed as a positive or a negative, depending on who you are.

My fist impression of Dr. Nazarian was that he looked very kind. He really took time to answer my questions without making me feel stupid for having asked them.

Over time, my impression of him only grew stronger. While I was in the hospital, Dr. Nazarian visited me several times... always with a smile. He even took time to give me my IV in a new vein since my others had collapsed and the nurses could not find a new vein.

Dr. Nazarian's office and staff are both very inviting. Everyone is friendly.

I am not sure there is anything that I did not like about Dr. Nazarian or his staff.

Future patients should know that Dr. Nazarian demands a level of committment from his patients... and rightly so. He can only do so much, the rest is up to us.

Dr. Nazarian places a huge emphasize on aftercare. He expects patients to excercise and follow their eating guidelines.

Dr. Nazarian was very straight forward about the risks involved with this sort of surgery. He was candid about his success and failure rate. He explained in detail what I should expect during and after the surgery.

I am thrilled to have Dr. Nazarian as my doctor.

He is truley the best and then some. His bedside manners, his meekness says it all for him.
His staff is remarkable, kind understanding, helpful. I can't say enough...Their is nothing least to like. He answers any question you may have and even if you don't he takes the time and goes over the procesure and your check list of what you should and should not have. He emphasize on after care is great. The support group is their and if you have any questions regarding post op he's their to answer questions. I rate Dr. Nazarian from 1-10 a 12 plus! You ask which is better? ...Surgical competence, beside manner are great.

Dr. Nazarian was my very first choice after researching surgeons in my area. He is a very humble man who takes his work very seriously. I was rather depressed prior to my surgery when it had to be rescheduled so that I could obtain additional clearances. But the two additional weeks that I had to wait actually helped alievate all my anxiety about having the surgery.

Dr. Nazarian's staff is a menagerie of young and old, spanish and arab speaking people. All of which are extremely kind and caring. Dr. Nazarian's baratric coordinator, Rick Mark, helped me expediate the process. Unfortunately I learned that Rick had accepted a new position within the liv-lite organization which has him moving to the East Coast, I was both disappointed and happy for him.

Dr. Nazarian has a very structured aftercare program. He has certain criteria that he really likes his patients to follow but he is very understanding in that some people have different requirements than others. He provides you with support and jokes on occasion.

One of the reason's I chose Dr. Nazarian is because of his expertise. He has done over 2000 operations with no fatalities and a minute number of revisions. He works only with physicans that he trusts during your surgery. But the plus about that is all of the doctors are equally as special as he.

If you have any questions about the surgery or your surgeon, I believe that you wouldn't have them from Dr. Nazarian.

My first impression of Dr. Nazarian...I knew he was the man to perform my surgery as soon as I met him. He is soft spoken, detail oriented and displays compassion for his patients. Dr. Nazarian clearly outlined the procedure, provided ample opportunity to ask/answer questions. I highy recommend Dr. Nazarian to anyone considering this surgery.

His office staff are clearly busy and there were some miscommunications about the pre-surgery tests and hospital admitting which affected my work schedule. Other than that, they are all very nice, professional and VERY willing to help no matter what the request.

Dr. Nararian is wonderful. He seems to be a doctor that really truely cares for his patients and their struggles with weight.

Dr. Nazarian had a wonderful bedside manner, and care during my hospital stay.

He called my husband from the surgery room to let him know it went well, then allowed him to see me in recovery (a hospital no no) before I was moved to ICU.

He called me at home the day after I returned to see how I was.

He is just a great dr. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Well my first impression my Dr. Naazarian is that he was really quiet, but very happy. He was nice, he explained the surgery in detail. He answered all my questions and he was very pleasant. He had too be an really good person cause I my life will be at his hand. So the feeling for him was really good.

Well I meet Dr. Nazarian in Las Vegas at an orienation. He was very detailed on what I was excepted out of the surgery, he answered my questions that I needed answered bout the surgery. I felt he was an very caring person who understands my conditions and health problems. I will be opening to another orienation on Jan 11 to see the doctor.
