Excellent from start to finish! Dr A makes sure you are well taken care of! His patient care is outstanding, far better than the US! His nurses and facility put the rest to shame! I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of getting the sleeve!! You would regret not seeing him.

Not one ounce of regret! I really questioned my desire for the surgery mostly because of my age and being over 50 years old. However, the experience I had with Dr. A and his team has been unmatched, and as you can imagine with a host of health issues before, I’ve encountered many doctors. Don’t hesitate if your pondering on it, all you’ll say later is, “what the hell was I waiting for”?!! Literally, one of the best decisions I ever made in my life, next to accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour - seriously! I was unhealthy and unhappy for most of my life, but I am intent on making the rest of my life AMAZING, and Dr. A is responsible for a HUGE part of my journey! He ‘crafted’ my sleeve specifically for me and has STILL been here to answer any questions or concerns I may have - him and his team are to me, “THE A TEAM” - all that research you’re doing, ends here - you found him, now GO FOR IT, what are you waiting for?!?!?!?!

Dr. Alvarez and his team at the Endohospital are amazing. They make sure the entire process is easy from beginning to end. They took excellent care of me! The hospital is very clean and comfortable.

Wow what can I say, I would not ever use any other surgeon or facility than Dr Alvarez! My girlfriend and my niece went to him both have done amazing. In less than 3 months I have lost 49 lbs and over 30 inches. Went from a 22 to size 14. I haven’t even started the real weight loss period yet! Dr Alvarez and his staff were amazing. The facility is state of the art. My daughter went with me she is or was diabetic at 35. She has done equally amazing! We felt so comfortable from the start. He and his staff are so welcoming and put us all at ease from the start. There is no doubt he IS a master surgeon. None of us who had surgery there have had any complications. He is strict because he wants you to have a great experience and meet your goals. Lol like a good parent. He still checks up on us and we use his bariatric app religiously I can call or text anytime and get an answer quickly. Full access to him and his staff. You don’t get this in the states believe me! I had a Hiatial hernia pretty bad and he repaired it at no charge. You will not ever be sorry for using this amazing surgeon and you will never be sorry for making this decision to change your life!

Dr Alvarez gave me my life back in an easy, 30 minute surgery. His hospital, EndoBariatric, is easily the cleanest, most modern and incredible hospital I’ve ever experienced. The bilingual staff were kind and caring. They run the hospital like a well oiled machine - everything is done perfectly and the moves from hotel floor to hospital floor and back are done perfectly.

The Endospa experience was incredible too - highly recommend! I had very little pain the 24 hours post op. More discomfort than anything.

I followed his post op instructions to a T and I’ve had zero complications. I have lost 51 lbs so far and feel like a different woman! I’m a better Mom, Nana and ME! I look forward to loosing another 50ish lbs now!

Dr. Alvarez and his staff were great. The Endobariatic facility is second to none. It was by far the best Medical Facility I have ever been to. Dr Alvarez personally meets with you the night before surgery and everything runs very smooth on surgery date. I personally did not have any pain or discomfort. Dr. Alvarez is a knowledgeable caring doctor. His facility and staff are some of the best professionals I have ever had. The facility is impeccably clean. Never once did I feel unsafe for any reason. His staff made me feel comfortable and any reservations I may have had about the surgery immediately vanished. Dr. A and his staff answered any and all questions before, during and after the procedure. You can tell he takes pride in his skill and services. He treats you as an individual so you don't feel like a person just getting weight loss surgery. He's personable and genuinely cares about YOU. When emailed, he and/or his staff respond in a short time frame. All communication and customer service are top notch--which is hard to find. I could not recommend a better doctor. He is truly a God send for people that have obesity concerns and need sleeve surgery. He is THE BEST.

I am a healthcare provider that works in critical care and often see all the rare albeit life threatening post-surgical complications. For that reason, I was very particular when it came time to select a surgeon and hospital. I have no doubt that I picked the best surgeon and hospital. I would let no one else touch me or my family. In fact, my daughter is now scheduled for surgery with Dr. Alvarez. I can not recommend him highly enough. He truly is changing lives one sleeve at a time.
