Great, he is the best surgeon ever, he explained everything and was there for any questions. He took an active interest in my progress.
Since my first meeting with Dr. Weinstein, I have been very impressed with him. He takes lots of time explaining the procedure and what the patient should expect. He is truly interested in improving people's lives.
His staff is also very nice. I had to reschedule an appointment because my daughter got hurt. They understood and worked me in and didn't make me wait until the "next available".
Dr. Lane is very professional and caring. He is truly compassionate towards those of us who have weight problems. Dr. Lane
thoroughly reviews each patients case to make sure the surgery is right for them. His office staff are very busy, but courteous, especially Mary in the insurance office.
You might have to wait a few minutes before you actually see the Dr., after weighing in and being put into an exam room. Only because Dr. Lane takes time with each patient and just remember he will take as much time as you need also! I appreciate a physician that does not hurry in and hurry out, especially when you are having a serious decision to make.
Dr. Lane is very concerned that each patient have a complete and thorough knowledge of each stage of the surgical process. He covers all the risk, follow-ups and after care of the surgery. This group of Physicians educate each patient with a class called the BEGIN class at Mobile Infirmary.
There was one nurse in his office that lacked a personal touch, but understandably we all have bad days. The Nurses, Exercise Physiologist, and Dieticians are very compassionate and informative. You know that they care and that you will be in Good hands.
I was impressed with the fact that Mobile Infirmary has a wing where all SWL (surgical weight loss) patients are taken care of, which is furnished with chairs, beds, gowns ect. for large (obese) patients.
I would Rate Dr. Lane as 10 out of 10 thus far, 10 being excellent
FIRST IMPRESSION WAS VERY GOOD~ THE IMPRESSION ONLY GOT BETTER EACH TIME I VISITED W/ DR LANE~~VERY GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER, CONCERNED FOR ME AS THE PATIENT (BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER) VERY INFORMATIVE~ AND WAS THE SAME WAY TOWARD MY HUSBAND WITH HIS QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS~~ OFFICE STAFF VERY NICE~~TO INCLUDE THE HOSPITAL & EVERYONE I CAME INTO CONTACT DURING MY VISITS AND STAY. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL WITH ANY QUESTIONS I HAD, SOMETIMES EVEN BEFORE I ASKED THEM! DR LANE IS AN OVER THE TOP 10 IN RATING!
My first impression of Dr. Lane was a good one. He was very personable and listened to me while I talked. We have met on two occassions, and I liked him more the second time I saw him. As for other patients in the future, be honest and ask questions. No question is a dumb question and he can't help you if you don't ask. He gave me details regarding the risks of surgery and makes sure you have a full understanding of them.
My first impression of Dr. Weinstein was he was very informative and to the point. I knew from working in a doctors office that had referred many patients to him that his reputation was the best in the area in my opinion. The staff was kind and helpful.Always returned my calls.This practice has a very good aftercare program.

I did not like that I had to wait so long for an appointment. That he's a wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. He emphazied greatly on aftercare and I hardly see him because he is so busy. My doctor had steps to go by for aftercare. He addressed every risk there was, but I knew about the risks before I went to him. I would give hima a 10. Both the surgical competence and bedside manner were great.
Dr. Weinstein was very nice from the get go.He made me feel very good about myself. My impression has never changed.
Dr. W's office staff is very nice and helpful.
I can't say that there is anything that I don't like about him.
That he is a really good doctor and I reccommend him to anyone wanting to do this surgery.
Very much so, they have a really good after care program; dietticians that talk to you that make sure you are on track.
The staff and Doctor had me read a booklet that they give you about weight loss surgery the pros and cons. Then before you can have your surgery you have to take a test. Whatever you miss he will go over it with you.
I rate Dr. Weinstein a 10!!!!!

He was not what I expected, but looked"experienced".
The more he taled and informed me of his credentials, the more I liked him.
