I am very impressed with Dr. Nowzaradan. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he also truly takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. He made sure to go in depth of explaining the different types of WL surgeries so I would be well informed to make the right decisions. He and I decided, due to my other health issues, that the RNY gastric bypass was the surgery for me. He is the man who saved my life. He meticulously took care of me and handled my other health concerns with much care. He stayed on top of my well-being!! I feel blessed to have found this surgeon. You ROCK Dr. Nowzaradan!!

When I first met Dr No (I call him that) he was very stern and direct. He has a no nonsense approach for your health and well-being. After a few office visit and my compliance, he became more personable. He visited the hospital daily and was on call whenever I needed him. I thank God for him and his staff. Rebecca and Rosie where always there to lend an ear during my post-op. Thanks to all of you. Dr No, you are the "BEST"

Dr. Younan Nowzaradan is simply the best!!!! There's not one negative thing I can say or think about him or his staff. There has NEVER been a time I've either called his office or went in for a visit that ALL my issues weren't addressed. I've recommented several of my friends and they are also very pleased with their results. The morning of my surgery (4-16-2010) I weighted in at 351lbs, and today I'm 220lbs!!!! And I'm LOVING my life!!!! I never meant a Dr. that is so hands on. If you call and say you need to talk to him, he gets on the phone and actually speak to you, not his nurse or assistant, you get HIM! You will never leave his office with unanswered questions about nothing. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. He makes you feel as if you are his only patient, cause of the time and concern he gives you. I can truly say, "I Love Dr. Nowzaradan".

Dr.Now is the best he was very quiet in beginning but over time he comes around and may even smile. However he knows his stuff his staff is always friendly. Especially Rosie she does everything for you by setting appointments and just dealing with your insurance (all headache work). I would recommend the BEST CARE CLINIC to anyone!!!

Dr. Nowzaradan is a very caring doctor. He is the only doctor that would see me when my lapband failed and had broken into pieces causing me lots of pain. At first, I was planning on having a new lapband, but thankfully Dr. Now told me about the sleeve. I had my revision surgery three weeks ago and I am doing very well. I am down 16 pounds and I feel great. Dr. Now's staff is always very caring and I love that he has Saturday appointments so I am not always having to take off work. I am very happy with my sleeve and so thankful to have found such a wonderful revision doctor!

I didn't like my surgeon at first. He took me off of some of my medications and that caused a weight gain. I was dieting when I gained that weight. He wouldn't let me take the medicines again and I gained more weight. He accused me of cheating on my diet and I wasn't. I got so mad and frustrated I walked out of his office.

I went home and went back to taking my medicines and continuing the diet. I ended up losing almost seventy pounds. It was so great.

The dr.'s office called to see if I had lost any weight and they scheduled an appointment for me and he set a date for surgery. I had all my testing etc. done already.

After surgery he was kinda strict with me, but was not upset when I had some kind of blockage and was rushed back into surgery. He did the surgery and everything was fine.

Now when I go back he seems to treat me o.k., but I know i'm not his favorite patient.

My first impression of Dr. Nowzaradan was \"what was that name again?\" It was the way in which we were introduced that caused the confusion. We were with OSS and Dr. Marvin left unexpectedly. We were originally with Dr. Naaman, but he retired in the middle of our original approval process. Well Dr. Nowzaradan came to one of the OSS seminars and introduced himself. He also presented on the details and risks of the surgery. He was very adamant about behaviors and to the point. That's actually one of the things I like most about him. No nonsense. It took me a while to adjust to some of his philosophies on nutrition and cholesterol levels. His approach is very different from everything I've ever been taught. It is basically Atkins for life. My experience has been with my husbands surgery and he had a lot of complicating factors. He was in ICU for 3 days after his surgery. We saw his doctor every day and he was very responsive to answering questions, and taking care of business. He is very attentive even after the surgery. He seems to genuinely care about how his patients do before and after surgery. His assistant is just as good so in my opinion you get 2 for 1. I would prefer a more structured after care program because I went through his office. They have support anytime you need it over the phone, but their support groups are during the week at 6 p.m. There is no way we can make that. Dr. Nowzaradan knows his business and is very good at it. He is a published surgeon in the field of laproscopic procedures. He appears to be one of the original surgeons performing this type of non-invasive surgery. There isn't an aspect of the aftercare he hasn't experienced. This includes depression, body image, nutrition, etc. I've been very impressed and I love that they do everything right there in his office with respect to tests, followup, and general care.
