Holzer Center for Comprhensive Weight Loss Bariatric Center

I met Dr. Grandia yesterday for my consultation. I found him to be very informative, and pretty blunt about the risks of this surgery.I think that the thing that struck me the most was that he has a wonderful sense of humour. Being able to laugh at oneself and just enjoy life is an important quality in a person to me.I was completely at ease with him. The whole staff at Holzer clinic is great. Sarah the dietician was sweet and extremely caring. Then there was Terri the counselor, and a "loser" herself. She had the surgery 2 years ago and looks wonderful. It was nice talking with her because she knows where I'm at and has been here herself. I definitely think I've made the right choice in places to go to for this surgery. The program at Holzer Clinic is very strict. They require each patient to sign an agreement that we will faithfully follow their program, attend monthly support meeting and keep our follow up appointments. I was very impressed with the level of aftercare that is available.
