Though I had a VERY rough time with my RNY surgery, without it I would probably have not made it much longer at 450 lbs and growing. First off, Dr. Noyan is a very nice guy and does have a great bedside manner. After only 9 mos I'm already at my goal weight, off all medications and hopefully will be around for many years to enjoy life with my family and friends. I was approved quickly by insurance and the pre-surgery information was great, I felt completely confident with Dr. Noyan and accepted the risks of the surgery, of course thinking that I would come through everything OK. Unfortunately I'm one of the lucky ones that did have severe complications and nearly died as a result of my RNY surgery due to a leak and the ensuing madness. This is not the place to go into details but you can read all about it in my profile if you wish.

Dr. Noyan is a very kind man. When I went for my first consult, I had lots of questions. He took his time and answered all my questions in detail. Avril and Sheri are also very kind. Sheri always knows the right things to say to calm my nerves.

Dr. Noyan made me feel very comfortable and at easy. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Noyan strongly stess after care and the importance of it during your journey. He throughly explained the risks associated with both lap band and bypass allowing me to make a decision on my own. I would rate him as excellent and would recommend him to everyone. He has both surgical compentence and experience and his bedside manner is great. He holds monthly support group meetings that are extremely helpful. I am glad I made the choice I did in my physcian and look forward to the day of surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Noyan was that he is experienced and knowledgeable yet does not treat his patients as if they know nothing about their bodies or how to lose weight. He is careful to make sure patients understand and follow the six month preoperative qualifying plan. He explains everything and is a good listener. His support group is informative and helpful. I do think he should make sure patients come for follow-up appts routinely and call if they don't.rnDr. Noyan's office has free copies of OH Magazine which is nice, but the furniture is not fat-friendly nor did his assistant have an extra large BP cuff -using a smaller size can cause BP numbers to be falsely high.rnDr Noyan was awesome in the hosptial. My surgery experience was smooth. He gave me pain meds when I needed them. His receptionist is a patient, all staff members attend and direct the large support groups. I highly recommend him and his staff.

My first impression of Dr. Noyan was that he was very knowledgeable, patient, and sincere. As i met Dr. Noyan for other office visits and during the group meetings, my impression of him was confirmed and I also found him to be extremely professional, straightforward, honest, and humorous. He is a very funny guy when appropriate and only when appropriate, otherwise he is professional and very likeable. His office staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. They also are very professional. So far I have not found anything that i don't like about him. Dr. Noyan follows a very strict regimen of care and this regimen makes sure that every patient is well aware that after care is a must after surgery. His after care program is very structured. He provided personal consultation on the risks of surgery as well as provided written information to take home. I would rate both Dr. Noyan and his staff a 10. A good surgeon, like Dr. Noyan, has both surgical competence and a healthy bedside manner.

My first impression of Dr. Noyan is that he is very helpful and caring. He considers his patients to be top priority. My impression didn't change over time because he has been great since the first visit. Dr. Noyan introduces the support group to patients upon their first visit to let them gain more insight into the Bariatric procedures and what is the best option for you. I highly recommend Dr. Noyan and his staff for the wonderful support that they've given me.

First impression was very professional, surgeon like, knew what he was talking about. First impressions are the same, professional, matter of fact. Office staff is wonderful! Aviril very smart and knows her stuff about insurance company. Sherry's been through what we are all looking to go through, so a wealth of experience and knowledge. Dr. Noyan emphasizes before and after care a great deal. He does not look at this lightly, and stresses the importance of follow-up, follow through and support.

My first impression of Dr. Noyan was that he truly did care about his patients. He went through everything & made sure I understood what I was getting into. He seems like a very nice and caring person. His receptionist also had the surgery done, too she's very nice. His wife is the nurse there and she's nice, too! So far I am still going through all of my pre-certifications but I am getting VERY close now. A little nervous but excited at the same time!!! :)
