Kim Bariatric Institute Bariatric Center
He was very nice and knowledgable
It hasn't.
Very caring and knowledgable.
The fact that he has a specific way he wants u to commit to live one you've had surgery and he goes back to it everytime he talks to you.
It is one of his biggest things he wants you to incorporate into your new life.
Yes including a support group that meets once a month.
He answers any questions you and family might have and goes over all very serious risk.
Excellent doctor and surgeon.
Both are pretty high in standards.
My first impression of Dr. Kim was that he was a highly intelligent doctor and cared very much about helping overweight people. I was a little apprehensive about the surgery, but Dr. Kim and his caring attitude convinced me that it was okay.
Dr Kim's office staff are professional, caring and easy to deal with. His Baratrics Coordinator (Pam) is a super nice person. You can ask her anything and she takes the time to answer.
Dr. Kim has a structured aftercare program that is awesome.
Dr. Kim addressed all the risks at the Seminar and again with the initial visit prior to surgery.
Dr Kim's bedside manner is great. He answers any and all questions you might have and he is definitely a breath of fresh air.
Dr Kim's overall rating in my book is as high as it gets. He gave me back my life and for that I will be forever greatful.
Thank you Dr. Kim! My surgery was June 21, 2004 and all I can do is sing praises for Dr. Kim and his entire team. The encouragement and support from the entire team has been great! The nursing assitants and staff at the hospital were wonderful and took great pride in the whole care of the patient. They were all exceptionally kind and professional during my stay. The pain involved was very minimal for me. I am 9 days out and have lost 12 pounds! I would encourage anyone that was thinking about it to go ahead full steam.
My first impression of Dr Kim was very good. I deal with many doctors everyday at work and I have dealt with the good and the ugly. Dr Kim is like a breathe of fresh air and I would put him in the upper class of doctors. His office staff so far as been very friendly and seem to be very comptent. Pam K. has been awesome and she has not rushed me anytime that I have spoke with her and that gives her a big PLUS in my book. For any future patients I would say have all your information together. The more you have it together the faster you can have an approval and the easier it is for you and Pam to get to a surgery date. Dr Kim does a very good job of going over the risks of surgery and he allows time for you to ask questions. 3/3/04 I had my consult last Friday and Dr Kim is everything I expected. He allowed me to ask questions and he made me feel very comfortable. His office staff is very nice and again Pam is great.
What a true professional Dr. Kim has been! My confidence prior to the suregery was only strengthened by his bedside manner at the hospital.
The encouragement from the entire team has been great! Pam, the Bariatric Coordinator; John, the Respitory Therapist; Cindy, our Dietician; Nurses - Hortence and Donna, and their nursing assitants, were all exceptionally kind and professional during my stay.

My first impression was he was very polite and very confident! I could tell he knew a lot about the surgery and left me feeling very secure in my decision! The staff is very friendly especially Pam the coordinator she was very prompt in calling me back when I called and just very easy to talk to! As far as before and after care they are excellent you are very much held responsible for your actions to walk, eat right and attend support meetings! Overall I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Kim and staff!
