Daniel Lane, M.D. Bariatrics Bariatric Center
Dr. Snow is a great and wonderful doctor with wonderful bedside manner. He explained the entire procedure to me in detail and he let me ask all of the questions and took the time to answer any thing I asked him in reference to this surgery.
My impression of him has only gotten better, he is very complimentary and very encouraging. His office staff is delightful to work with and are eager to help you with your paper work to get you scheduled.
I am sure they have an aftercare program but I have not been involved in it.
Dr. Snow told me all of the risks of surgery and all of the pros and cons.
I think a doctor should definitely be competent in his field ad Dr. Snow was one of the pioneers of this surgery in this area. As far as his bedside manner you couldn't ask for anyone kinder.
Dr. Lane is wonderful. He came to check on me (and his other patients) each day, in the hospital, even when he wasn't on call and when he was scheduled off. He really listens to you and is never in a hurry. A five star rating for Dr. Lane.
Dr. Lane was very informative. He looks young but that shouldn't have anything to do with his surgical ability. He first talked about the pros and cons and things that could happen. Was very upfront about all the risks. He was not in a hurry or rushed me in anyway. It started by him talking about the procedure, pros and cons, all the risks. Then I asked him questions and he answered all of them. I got nervous and forgot a few things. He made me feel comfortable in asking anything. He is very open and cares about the patient. I feel comfortable with my decision to use Dr. Lane as my surgeon. His staff is nice and friendly. I agree with a response about Dr. Lane, he doesn't smile and does have a tired look.
He was friendly and spent time with you.
I like Dr snow and am glad to have him doing my surgery.
He has a great office staff..very nice and love to talk to you..
I felt lower then him it is hard to explain..He was great I just felt ingnorant I guess.
Everyone should know that he is a great Dr and you should be proud to have him as your Dr.
We never talked about aftercare.
Dr Snow did tell me about the risks of this surgery, and he will talk to you about your worries..Thats were I felt ignorant..I thought I was asking way to many questions so I stopped...He just was looking at me so I am not sure what he was thinking...
I think his rate over all is good, I think everyone could stand a little improving but he was very nice.
I think there both important..but if I had to choose I would pick surgical competence..big time..wouldnt you...
I LOVE DR. LANE TO DEATH. HE IS SO PERSONABLE AND CARING. HE TAKES UP ALOT OF TIME WHEN HE EXPLAINS THIS SURGERY. AND THE HOSPITAL IS GREAT, EVERYONE IS VERY FRIENDLY.I THINK ANYONE IN THIS AREA SHOULD CONSIDER HIM AS HIS/HER DOCTOR.HE GIVES HIS PATIENTS VERY IMPORTANT PAPERS TO READ ONCE THEY ARE AT HOME. HE STRESSES FAMILY INVOLVEMENT.
I really liked Dr. Snow , he is very confident in what he does , he tells you just like it is , plain and simple, no fancy big words, but most of all he takes his time , and listens to you.... and ask you do you have any questions ... He is also not going to tell you something he cannot do , he will say I have to do what is best for the patient.... And , i respect him for that.. I have had about 6 people that i know use him and i have heard nothing but good things and how Dr. Snow has gave them a new life, Thank God , he gave Dr. Snow the knowledge, ability , and a willing heart to want to help people make a life change for the better....... Bless you Dr. Snow
MY first impression of Dr Lane was, well alittle on the shakey side. But I am glad I did not base my opinion on looks. He was the most plesant, soft spoken, and caring Dr. I walked away feeling so good. I feel I am in excellent hands. He was the 3rd Dr I had seen for this particular procedure. I feel I have made the best choice.
The staff was not very good. They were very rude, acting like I was bothering them, and even after my second visit, my opinion of them has not changed.
Dr. Lane was very candid about the risk. He did not sugar coat anything, he layed it all out in black and white. I rate him a 10 so far, and don't see my opinion changing.
My first impression (looks only) of Dr. Lane was not a real positive one. He had dark circles under both eyes and just looked tired and washed out. I'm glad I didn't go on my first impression though! He was very patient, witty, understanding and informative. He even complimented me on my scar from my back surgery! He felt confident that I would be approved if I could get a letter from my ortho. dr. Dr. Lane talked about the pros/cons of the surgery and the risks that would come with having it. He didn't talk alot about after care, but he did stress that it was a lifestyle change and it was hard work. I was not impressed with his nurse. She had NO personality at all and made me feel very uncomfortable for even being there. After Dr. Lane was through with me he forwarded me to the insurance clerk that was very nice. She told me what I needed to provide them with and made copies of record referrals to give to my other drs. So far so good. Just hope the insurance approves!
