I switched to Dr. Suh from Dr. Sanderfer. I have my first consult with him on 6/5/03.
UPDATE: Just met Dr. Suh. Very nice man. Explained everything to me. Got my hopes up. I can't wait to do this.
Update: 2/27/04 Dr. Suh is the best!!! I cannot say enough good things about him. I was having some upper abdominal pain and his office got me in same day. Turned out to be ulcers but he was very caring and understanding. I would do this surgery again in a millisecond if Dr. Suh was going to do it. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a good surgeon.
Dr. Suh is awsome! Not only is he the best in wls but he is nice, patient and very concerned about all of his patients! He is overworked but handles it great and never sacrifices the patient/doctor relationship. I would recommend Dr. Suh to all interested in WLS. Also, his office staff is great, especially MO!!! SHe is another overworked one but is always smiling, happy, and very helpful!
Dr. David Suh of Crown Bariatrics in Corona, CA is an outstanding surgeon. Crown is an excellent place to go. Really, really good follow up from all facets of the group. Dr. and his PA came to see me in the hospital daily. I was also visited by 2 other doctors who helped with the op. This group is outstanding. Hospital was Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, near Temecula. It is a great place too. ICU was awesome. I strongly recommend this group.
Dr. Suh is a very quiet man; however, he has the patient's best interests at heart. He always shows up at the support group I attend sponsored by his group. His office staff are very supportive, friendly and efficient, especially Mo who does the scheduling. I have had to wait up to 11/2 to see him at appts; however, I really don't mind. I do wish the staff wouldn't overbook him. He emphasizes aftercare with him; although you are free to see your primary care physician. It's better to see him due to his experience and expertise. He reveiwed the surgery with me at the consultation. Overall, I rate him a 10!! I believ surgical competence is better; however, Dr. Suh has both. He answers questions thoroughly.
Dr. Suh was pleasant and gave me confidence during my first visit. Although I was scared, he continued to encourage. Mo, on of the office workers, is, and continues to be, a wonderful support. She always remembers me, and my case. Anyone in the area should at least visit with Dr. Suh before choosing a surgeon. While in the hospital, he visited me three times a day. He and the staff are always there to help in between regularly scheduled appointments (3 and 6 months, one year) He addressed all the risks of the surgery, and still remained confident it would be successful. I was terrified the day of surgery, having never been under the knife, but in a few short hours, it was over and my new life had begun! I'd rate him top notch. He was great in all aspects, from competency, to his bedside manner. The only bad problem is the Wildomar office is small and has little sitting, so it's very warm in there.
I first heard about Dr. Suh from my cousin, her friend had her surgery done with Dr. Suh.
Then on line talking to a peer, found out she was with the same doctor I was with, Dr. Sanderfer, she changed to Dr. Suh. I decided to go to a meeting in July,2003. I saw Dr. Suh there, He answered so many of my questions, and did it very perfessional. From then on I change my doctor after waiting over a year and half of stupid excusses from Dr. Sanderfers office, his office staff needs to change. I started working on the rest of my tests, and getting approval to see Dr. Suh. My First visit was August 7th, he really listen to me, AND my husband. My husband had the surgey done with the other doctor, and is having proplems contacting him. So he asked a couple of questions, and Dr. Suh took the time to talk to him. That really impressed me. My date is August 26th!!!!! Im so excited, everyone says dont get my hopes up, cause I had 2 dates from the other doc and got postponed. But Im sorry, I really feel deep in my heart God directed me to Dr. Suh for a reason! Dr. Suh made sure I REALLY knew what I was getting myself into, and I have to change so much. Im so ready! I cant wait to join my husband on the losing side, my 4 lil kids cant wait also. Until next week! Linda
OH Dr. Dada was so nice and so polite he was encouraging and I felt so comfortable just talking to him it was a good sign. The staff were on there toes and very professional , it was run like clockwork! I had bad experiences with other staff going through this and i was delighted by the difference and so pleased to see such professionalism.I was recommended by my insurance and since my 1st consult everything is going great!
I would recommend that any molina patient to go to this office and see the difference in attitude,great supportive people and overall caring of doctor and staff for the patient.
In my 1st impression I rate them 10!
MY 1st initial consult was with dada but my surgeon was dr. David Suh who i have to say was so nice and i was very comfortable. thank you dr. Suh!
I found that my surgeon has a very great bed side manner and ,answered all my questions and, made sure that I knew everything I had to know.He's such a busy man woooo!But he's awesome!!! I feel I am in good hands thank the lord!!His office staff was on the ball!! Its along appt. So prepare yourself. Aftercare was emphasized a little bit,but I asked questions.Yes he does as far as I know have a structured aftercare program.Yes he does address the risks of surgery. I rate him a 10.I will know more after surgery!!!!!!
Dr. suh is very friendly and easy to talk to as is his staff. He was purely professional about his work. I felt confident in his skills ,as he came highly reccomended. My surgery did not go as planned but he did everything he could under the circumstances and I felt he took the proper course of action. The only thing I could say negatively is they need bigger offices to accomodate all the people they have scheduled for appts.They stay in close contact with patients and return calls quickly, they even have annual reunions to keep in contact . The after care is structured and they give plenty of info to follow .Dr. Suh and his staff seem to care about each person and delight in their success.
