Suh Bariatric Bariatric Center
Dr. David Suh is wonderful. He did my husbands surgery about two weeks before mine and has always taken the time to sit down with us and answer any questions we had. He really seems to take an interest in his patients. I also like that he shows up to the support meetings to answer questions. MO, who works in his office, deserves an award. Anytime we have had a question or problem she has been right there to help us get it settled. She seems excited to see us each time we come in.
Easy going. Non judgemental.Careing.Honest. Humourous. Well liked by his patients. Concise in his delivery of both good and not so good things that can happen with this kind of surgery. Easy to understand. I had an appointment with Dr. Suh 1-04, for the first time. I liked him immediately. He very concisely addressed all the benefits and risks of RNY surgery. He draws a mean diagram and has a wonderful sense of humor. Of a 1-10 rateing with 1 being really poor, I give Dr. Suh, his office, and staff, a high end 10.
Dr. Suh strikes me as very competent, confident, and capable. He's quiet, soft-spoken and I felt at ease and trusting when I met with him. His office staff seemed perfectly nice and friendly and Mo was really great. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things go from here, now that I've got my surgery date of July 14, 2004.
Dr. Suh is a no nonsense individual which is what I needed. I did not need a surgeon who tried to be cute and funny. I was terrified and he had such a commanding presence. I needed that. I am a nurse myself and wanted to have a doctor very much in control. He was and I appreciated that. The nurses at the hospital commented on how personable he was, I laughed and made comment, I think drugged at the time that he was like plain toast...we all laughed. But, he was exactaly the doctor I needed. I respect him and would recommend him to anyone.
There was nothing at all I did not like except his office is so far away from me, 70 and 90 miles from North Hollywood to Corona or Wildomar.
Moe, the coordinator in his office was wonderful to me and continues to answer my "stupid" questions. I call them stupid..she never does. It is a good office group..but too many people waiting. I wish I had stock financially in this Medical Group.
I saw an ad in the O.C. Register for a free seminar at the Hyatt in Irvine. To my surprise, there was only 3 attendees including myself. He was very attentive to the questions we had.
My impression hasn't changed as of this date. He seems a bit on the shy side, but... so am I, so I feel comfortable about that.
He speaks very low and I suggested investing in a mic for the support group meetingws.
Aftercare is emphasized greatly, especially with the support groups. Yes, very structured.
Risks: as expected with any major surgery.
I would rate him very knowledgeable and sincere to our needs.
Of course both. But with my self-confidence already shot, it is certainly nice to have him have great bedside manner too. Just well rounded for the patient considering this surgery.
Dr. Suh has been very good and I like him a lot. I have had one appointment with him so far but I have seen him two times after that. He goes to the support groups I attend and I saw him at a seminar I went too. My impression is he really care for his patents. I will write more when I see him again.
I was impressed with Dr Suh from the moment I meet him and have been ever since. He is easy to talk to and easy to get a hold of in and emergency. You get the sense that he really cares and answers all of your questions no matter how dumb I thought they were. He's profesional and friendly. I'm asking myself if there is anything negative I have to say about him and I honestly can't think of a single negative expirence with him. I am soooo thankful I found him. Thank you Dr Suh! Jodie
