I am happy with my decision to have bariatric surgery. I look forward to a better quality of life.

I work in real estate law and I have a client who was very heavy and always sick. He had everything else going well in his life except for his health. He had gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Sean and changed his life. When he hit 125 pound weight loss for over 2 years, and was now in perfect health, I knew that if he could do it, I could do it too. That is when he told me about dr. Sean.

Every thing about Dr. Sean's practice made the process of starting and have weight loss surgery was made so easy for me. From working with my insurance, to the wonderful supportive staff, many of which have had weight loss surgery themselves, all I had to do was to focus on myself to make my life better. Dr. Sean discussed all the options and the side effects and was always supportive and not judgmental.

Four months and almost 65 pounds lighter, I feel like a new person. Having vertical gastric sleeve surgery completely changed my life. I feel wonderful. I am so much more active than I was before, and it feels great. Plus it totally changed the way I see and feel about food. Almost every day someone comes up to me asking me how I did it and how they can change their life too. I always tell them about Dr. Sean. I owe him my new happy life and I can never thank him and his staff enough.

What can I say but I love this man. Since I have started, I have lost 96 lbs. I feel better, looker better and able to do things that I have not done in years. People who I have not seen in a year have to do a double take. They are not sure it is me.

My path towards lifetime health began almost 5 months before my surgery date of Feb. 5, 2015. I had been thinking about bariatric surgery for years but ironically wasn't overweight enough. I used to joke that maybe I should binge eat until I qualified! I never really thought I would get to that point but after 40 years of yo-yo dieting, I was there, along with co-morbidities and the promise of others to come.

In October 2014, I went to see Dr. Adeyeri. He has 3 different offices, super convenient for scheduling appointments. I went to both Freehold and Old Bridge. I had done my research and knew which surgery I wanted but we discussed the other options as well. Dr. Adeyeri made sure I would choose the correct surgery for ME. I could see his passion for helping the obese patient manage a problem that many people blame on overeating and laziness. For the first time, I felt hope that I wasn't destined to continue getting bigger and sicker. I left his office feeling determined to take control of my health.

Throughout this process, Dr. Adeyeri and his staff were WONDERFUL. I have had many nice doctors but sometimes the staff can be difficult. NOT HERE! Everyone was warm and welcoming and helpful EVERY TIME I went there. Dibs to Mara, Melissa, and Lori. A special shout out goes to Maureen at Raritan Bay Medical Center. She was and still is a wonderful asset to Dr. Adeyeri and the hospital .

Don't be afraid to take control of your own health and if you are considering bariatric surgery consult with Dr. Adeyeri. You won't be disappointed.

I am very pleased with my weight loss and health due to Dr. Adeyeri and his health team at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
I had my weight loss surgery in Oct.2014 and so far loss over 30 pounds! Before the surgery my BMI was very high,my cholesterol was high in which I had a heart attack in 2011, bloodpressure was rising and have osteopenia in my right hip. The weight that I was carrying around put prussure on my hips and although I did exercise and walking it was at a minimal. Since the surgery I'm off my medications,have no problems walking or exercising,but most of all I feel GREAT!! I had been thinking about having bariatric surgery for some time and had my initial consultation with Dr. Seun in September of 2014. He explained everything from the start of the process to what I'd have to do to be successful at weight loss afterwards. He was very thorough, helpful and has an excellent "bedside manner". I had a bariatric gastric sleeve surgery performed on February 18, 2015 and am already seeing improvements in my size, my energy and my overall disposition. It's going to be a long road ahead, but it's one that I'm certainly going to travel well knowing that I have Dr. Seun, his office, and all his past and present patients in support. Thanks Dr. Seun!

Everyone at Prime care surgery has been very understanding and pleasant to work with. This was a hard decision to make , but I know that I made the right one for me and my family. I am looking forward to a new me and a new healthy life style.

2 Weeks Post... Great experience with Dr. Seun and staff! Pre-surgery visits were informative and flexible. Surgery was successful and went as expected. Gets better by the day. All information and literature was easy to follow and allowed for easy 1st week. Dr. Seun is excellent, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and provides you with the foundation for weight-loss.

I had the gastric sleeve done and it was the best decision I had made in my life. Dr. Sowemimo was extremely thorough and very understanding as to explaining every detail. He is a great surgeon and a wonderful person to go on this journey with. He makes you feel at ease every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better doctor!

On January 26,2015 Dr. Seun Sowemimo performed a biactric sleeve on stomach due to my overweight and diabetes and other health issues. By going to Dr. Seun Sowemimo he has shown me the way to a better life style and has improved my longevity in life . For anyone who wants to lose weight and get any weight lose surgery I would recommend Dr. Seun Sowemimo. He's honest and tell what is best for you , and he is with you to the finish.
