Its been almost 8 months since my surgery. I feel wonderful. This was one of the best decision I did for myself. I have the support of my family and I have a great doctor helping me. I lost 90 pounds.

I was referred to Dr. Adeyeri by a friend who had surgery by him. I must say that I was very pleased with the friendly professionalism of his office staff. He was quite informative recommending what would be best for me. Education was key. Dr. Adeyeri insists on you being a partner in this endeavor. Emphasis was on the commitment that must be made to the lifestyle that follows surgery, not once downplaying the seriousness of this. I found him to be extremely competent and to have a good bedside manner.
I had GSP June 26. I have lost 25 lbs so far. I have been to two support groups and find them very helpful. Either he or his partner, Dr. Sowemimo (or both) attend these meetings offering more information and continued support.
I would recommend him to anyone. His confident manner will support you through out the entire surgical experience. You must be a willing and educated partner.

I had my gastric bypass surgery on January 31, 2010. That morning of the surgery I weighed 223lbs today I weigh 123lbs. When I first started on this journey I was a diabetic on 4 needles and 7 pills a day, today I am only on vitamins. Dr Seun did a fantastic job, I am so happy being down to a normal size. In the beginning it was a little hard to keep food down but today even though I still cannot eat a lot it feels like I have eaten a huge meal.

My life really has not changed, I still go out to dinner with my family, I will order a meal knowing that I will not eat but a few bites but it keeps me feeling like I am still living a normal life.

When I see family members and class mates that I have not seen in years they do not recognize me. To me I look the same only a smaller version.

I know some people who really need to have the surgery but is very afraid. No matter how much of a success that they see my surgery was they are still afraid. I feel like I have added 10 plus years to my life and I am loving the way that I feel and look. Thanks Dr. Seun.

I had my surgery, a Gastric Sleeve done on august 29th 2012. I was 283lbs that morning, today I am 195lbs and feeling great! Dr Seun did a fantastic job, I am so happy being down to a normal size. I went from almost wearing a XXX and a 46" waist to a Large shirt and a 34" waist. Recovery was quick, had no issues. Ive thrown up once, from the barium for the leak test the day after the surgery...other then that I can eat anything...just small amounts of food.

I have been trying to encourage my overweight friends to get it done...I wish I had the health insurance coverage to have had this done 10 years ago. Im leaner, stronger, more flexible...my blood pressure went down. I couldn't be happier.

People are afraid of surgery...well dont let it stop you. This was a major lifestyle change and you wont regret it!

I had my surgery 2 years ago this past January and I feel wonderful. I went from 288 down to 145 and I can tell you Lap Band surgery is well worth it.

Prior to my surgery, I struggled with obesity, hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol. After so many doctors visits, my endocrinologist suggested I should consult with Dr. Adeyeri as a last resort.

Went for consultation and Dr. Adeyeri was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the different options and types of surgery and explained which would be most beneficial based on my medical needs.

I opted for the gastric-bypass which was done March 28th, 2013.
I was admitted to the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. My hospital stay consisted of three days. The staff and nurses were fantastic and Dr. Adeyeri was phenomenal! Everything he told me about the surgery was accurate.

Since then, I have lost 65lbs. I am diabetes and cholesterol free. My blood pressue is under control as well.
I look and feel like a totally different person...Thank you for changing my life and of my family!

I had my surgery May 8, 2013 and am doing wonderful! I am off blood pressure med's also off diabetic med's. I saw my primary care dr. last week and he told me with out this surgery I would have been dead in 2 yrs. I was a time bomb for a major heart attack.
Dr. Adeyeri is a wonderful caring man, his office staff is top notch. Wonderful to deal with and alway's there for you if needed I highly recomend Dr. Adeyeri to all that are considering this type of surgery. He saved my life and I love him for that!

I would like to thank Dr Seun and his entire staff for making this one of the best decisions I have every made. I had my surgery almost 7 months ago and have since lost 71 lbs. I feel great and from all the reviews I have gotten I look just as good. I work for doctors that work very closely with Dr Seun, I see patients everyday that are working on their pre op procedures. I love telling them that I myself have had the procedure done and my progress they are amazed. Sometimes I show them a before picture and they spend several minutes asking me questions about the surgery, I think it is good for them to hear from someone who has just gone through it. Its funny because we all say the same thing about Dr Seun, HE IS GREAT and everyone feels so at ease with him and that he makes you feel like you matter to him and his staff. On this reveiw there is a section on the right had corner that says that "No person can be the "best" in all aspects." Well that is not true I could not find one NEGATIVE thing to say about him or my surgery.

I had my weight loss surgery in February 2011. I struggled with the idea initially but once meeting with Dr.Sowemino, I immediately knew I was making the right choice. He was informative and his supportive advice helped guide my decision. Since the surgery, I have been very happy with my results and continued weight loss. He along with his wonderful staff made me feel comfortable, confident and calm during and after my surgery. Dr. Sowemino is patient and kind and his staff's support is greatly appreciated! He is truly concerned about his patients and takes his time explaining each step throughout the weight loss process. He is extremely personable, and I always feel I am well informed after each visit.
