I had heard so many wonderful things about him, and when I finally met with him I loved him and put 100% trust in him and his experience. I know now first hand what a wonderful Dr. he is. everyone in his office was very helpful and friendly. I do not have any complaints about Dr. I or his office. (Keep in mind I am 3 Years 4 mos post op) his office staff has changed but I am sure they are all very nice. Dr. I is in demand, he is extremely busy, so be prepared to wait for a visit, but take the waiting time to research all about the surgery especially the mental part of it, and believe me, he is worth the wait. If all goes well with the surgery, you will probably only have to see him 1 or 2 times post op, and then your PCP can do your followup blood work and checkups. I am not sure what type of aftercare program Dr. "I" has now, when I had my surgery 4/20/99, he was readily available, but I basically chose to go to my own PCP. Dr. "I" explained the risks of the surgery as in any surgery, but he was very confident and that helped me alot. I think that Dr. "I" is the greatest, he saved my life, on a scale of 1-10 I give him a 12!!. Of course in a perfect world you want the most competent Dr. with a great beside manner, personnaly I'll take Surgical competence over bedside manner, any day, and in my perfect world with Dr. "I" you will get both.

Dr. Ibrahim presented as a very carinng, concerned and knowledable Dr. I really liked the fact that he wanted several test done to see what my insides looked like since this would be my second surgery. His office staff was very nice and very helpful especially Devorah and Marlee. His aftercare program seems pretty good. I like the fact that the support groups are run by the nurse and the nutrionist. Overall I would rate Dr. Ibrahim 10++.

He Struck me as very personable. I have grown more appreciative of his skills and care. The staff was excellent, from the Office clerks to the Nurse in Charge. There is nothing I can find fault with. He is very Straight foward and direct, but very kind also. He is very precise. His Group has a very structured after care procedure and even though I live 5 hours away, his staff would check on me frequently at home, and always went out of their way to address any questions over diet or any matter concerning post op questions. He covered the risks very thourally and I felt very comfortable in his care. He is a 10+ in my Book. He is as far as I am concerned, World class at all the tasks!

Think as you will if my comments sound to positive about him. I speak the Truth as I see it. Again these are my personal opinions, but I would reccomend him to anyone.

Dr. Ibrahim was very professional and seemed sincerely interesed in helping myself as well as any ther person fighting obesity. My impression remains the same. His staff is supportive especially the program co-ordinator. There is a very structured after care program including visites to the dietician.

The risks of surgery were explained,at the same time Dr, Ibrahim expressed complete confidence in the surgery and my results.

Competence greatly outweighs bedside manner, as long as the support staff are caring and helpfull. You see more of them anyway.

my first impression he was very informative went step by step of what to expect.the office staff especially Devorah goldburg was very helpful and was in contact constantly. He really specifics to really think this descision thru carefully there is no going back on you decesion, and stressed how important to follow "all" the guide lines regarding the surgery to be sucessful. He was very candid about the fataility rate that he as a surgeron has had and I would rate him a 9 on a scale of 1-10. My main concern is his surgical competence, bed side manor is great but with my life in his hands i greatly care more about that.

I think Dr. Ibrahim is great. I felt comfortable with doing the surgery right after I met him. He assured me that things would be okay and that I can do this.

My surgery went really well. I think the only thing that I had a hard time with was the after affect of anesthesia.

I feel great so far and am going back to work Monday.

I met with Dr Ibrihim on July 17th,2001.I was taken right away and greeted by a very lovely RN named Devorah. She is an angel. My first impression of the Dr. was a very good one. He did not rush me at all and explained everything to me in detail. He knew I was a Nurse but he still talked to me like I was a patient and I liked that.He has a great bedside manner and he came highly recommended as a surgeon from another Dr I had seen.He explained all of the risks and complications and stressed how you must adhere to the eating program after for continued success after the surgery. They have a weight management support group monthly that I can attend, and they encourage you to go.The only thing I was disappointed in was the waiting time. They have gotten very busy over the last few months and I have to wait 4 months for my surgery. I also did not realize that there would be so much pre-op testing involved before hand.At this point I would rate him as an excellent listener and would recommend the facility in Englewood to others considering this surgery.

Been calling the Doc's office to speak to the coordinators of surgery and insurance issues. I only get voicemails and no return calls.I am stuck in limbo and need to speak to them and am getting no response. I think they have been getting so busy over the last 6 months that it is getting harder for thm to give more personalized service than before.I have seen a definate change for the worse in communicating with the patients and call backs. since my consult in July 2001.

Dr. Ibrahim is a very nice man and an extremely capable doctor. My PCP said that he was "one of the best" in Englewood Hospital.

Dr. Silvestri, who operates with him, is very straight-forward.

Dr. Ibrahim (the optimist) said I would probably be in the hospital 2-3 days. Dr. Silvestri (the pessamist)said more like 5-7 days.

Devorah, the nurse, is great. Very caring and calming.

There is a support group that I attended once. I was not impressed because the room was so crowded that we had to stand. I will attend the next one and give comments.
