I was immediately impressed with Dr. Todd, he has a gentle manner, he made me feel very confident in his ability as a surgeon. He was very up-front about the possible complications, and the things he as a surgeon, and the after care would be doing to avoid those possible complications. The office staff at Alaska Bariatric Center is top-notch. They always make me feel very welcome, and happy to see me. They have a very structured support system at ABC, and are very open to answering any questions I may have. Obviously, a great bedside manner is a plus, but surgical competence is the most important factor for me, and fortunately, Dr. Todd has both!

My doctor was Dt. Todd. He worked very hard to get me to surgery date. He is very thorough and does not let anything slide by his attention. Caring and professional is what I can say are his best traits. And now that I've had the surgery, I can say he is a wonderful surgeon. Although the office is usually chaotic at times and feels a little rushed, I know he and his staff have everything under control. I am glad I chose Dr. Todd as my surgeon.

I was very honored to meet Dr. Todd. He made me feel very comfortable, and shared that God is so important with this surgery. It gave me the assurance that this was the right surgery to do for myself.
It has been 2 years since my surgery. I still feel that he is the Best Surgeon in the world.
Future patients need to realize that this can be a long process, and not to get discouraged... It will happen in time. Dr. Todd will go out of his way to help all patients to have better health and better self esteem.. Dr. Todd went to bat for me and called in 5 Anethesiologists to come and save my life and to get iv's that took 5 hours to place.. He is not a quitter. Dr. Todd was very straight forward about the risks of the surgery. The key is to follow all of his directions. You will have less physical problems.
Both of the sugical competence and bedside mannor was excellent for me in my case.

Dr. Todd and his office staff care about the patients they see. They are always friendly, smiling, and happy to see you. The doctors gave me all the information I needed ot make an informed decision about this surgery. After my surgery, all questions I made via the phone, were answered in a timely manner. I especially appreciate Dr. Sergei Bogojavlensky, who helps Dr. Todd, but also has his own obgyn practice out of Dr. Todd's office. He gave important insight into some female problems that could have complicated my surgery and my aftercare. I highly recommend this team of doctors and staff for this surgery.

What can I say about a man that did something for me that changed my life. Dr. Todd is a very caring person. I was very comfortable with him and I put my life in his hands and he did an awesome job with it. I would recommend Dr. Todd to anyone who is considering this type of surgery. He is very knowledgeable and sincere.

I first met Dr. Todd on January 21, 2004. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience . He is very thorough in all aspects of the surgery. I loved that he didn't try to sugarcoat the facts about risks and benifits. He was very honest about everything. His staff is very helpful and kind. I thank the Lord everyday for bringing them into my life.

Dr. Todd and his team are wonderful. I have been very impressed with the overall attitude of the office and staff and equally impressed with the sincerity they show to each patient. So far they are without a doubt some of the most important people in my life and will remain to be even after surgery. everyone has been great with answering questions i have and helping me go through this entire process. i am very very pleased and would recommend them to anyone seeking WLS.

My impression has not changed about him at all except that he is really busy and think it flustrates him not to spend time like he would probably like to with each and everyone. The office staff is really great and caring. They try to answer and do what they can for you. Dr. Todd knows he is only one person so he joined with several other Doctors to accomadate existing and new pts. He and staff are very much for after and before care. He does have a structured aftercare and it is up to the pt. to do their part to follow it. It is your life or death. Dr. Todd has meetings to discuss the surgery and the risks in full and the after risk also. His surgical competence is excellent, so is his bedside matter both of which is equally important. He is a very wonderful Doctor. I am glad he is mine.

The first time I saw him was at a support meeting.

He seems very caring. I had quit trying to get in touch with them for a few months, because I didn't think he wanted to touch me.

My being 72 and the eldest he had done was 66.

A friend I have known for 30 years had the by-pass surgery called me and suggested I get in contact with Dr. Todd's office again, so I did.

I went through all the tests and all came back positive. I had my date scheduled and had my surgery.

I still feel Dr. Todd is a very caring Doc and would not hesitate to recommend him to any one interested.

My impression of Dr. Todd was and is very positive. The staff he has now, seems interested in helping in any way they can.

There isn't anything I don't like about him.

Aftercare is a must and he has support groups in the various towns that someone from his office attends. Except now,during the Holidays, they are just too busy and we understand that.

He explained the risks and wanted to make sure I understood, but it was worth it to me.

I feel he is a very competent Doctor and would rate him very high.

I prefer both, surgical competence and bedside manner.

These are my opinions and I have not been infuenced by anyone. I am up and running after my 3 days in the hospital.
