I was impressed with Dr. Todd as soon as I met him. His staff was great, the whole experience was very positive. They are wonderful caring people that make you feel like you are a part of the team from the very start. Dr. Todd is very strict about after care and the entire process. He was very straightforward about the risks, and checks along the way to make sure this is what you want. He has been very supportive and a complete God send.His manner is very kind and comforting, but he shoots straight from the hip, answering all questions. He is very competent and I trust him completely. I highly recommend Dr. Todd- absolutely the best!

I thought that Dr. Todd was very supportive and empathetic. He truly seemed to care. My opinion at 11 days post op has not changed. The Todd Squad (his office staff) is great, some of the people in his office have had the surgery, so understand what we feel. My only complaint with Dr. Todd is that he is sooooo busy. But, even though he does the take the time to connect one on one. I think that this is very important, we invest alot of trust in Dr. Todd, and it's hard to break that dependency to want to connect with him in his office. So, as he does more surgery and the office staff takes over more of the appointments and follow-ups we'll see less of him. But, there will be someone else in similar or worse conditions then we are in that will be helped, so I guess the trade-off is OK.

My first impression of Dr Todd was that he was a wonderful and caring person. I Love the way him and his staff cares about everyone that walks in the door... The hugs are great and makes you feel good... not like you are a patient but part of his family. Dr Todd addressed the surgery in full detail. There is no # to rate Dr Todd... But if I had to he would for sure be a 10.

I think that he is great. He encourages a great support group.

Met with Dr Todd and his office staff. Had a good time while meeting everyone, Elizabeth, thanks for explaining so much to me...Dr Todd u r a very Special Dr. I can tell u have dedicated ur life to helping people like myself to get this weight off. Thanks so much Dr Todd for coming to Alaska and helping a lot of us who needed this Tool to get weight off and keep it off.

Dr Todd is a Blessing!!! I can't wait till I get my surgery date so I can become a Post op...but dang sleep apnea test isn't till Feb 5th 02 so I have to wait till Dr Todd gets back to alaska But I am getting some weight off now....no last suppers here!!! I am wanting to get a lot off b4 surgery so I do not have as many problems recovering & so I won't be such high risk.

I met Dr. Todd on Dec. 12,2001. I was very impressed with his office staff and Dr. Todd. I can't wait until I see him again hopefully to set a date. I would recommend him to any one of my friends.

Dr. Michael todd is wonderful compassiate doctor care for patient vary much.He care about what we think.

My first impression of Dr. Todd was that he was a person who REALLY cared and wanted to do all he could to help people. I instantly trusted him and continue to do so even more as I get to know him better. One thing that really impresses me, is that he is close to God and isn't ashamed to admit it. I feel there is no greater team I could trust my life to than God and Dr. Todd, a very skilled and compasionate surgeon. The office staff is wonderful! They have been very helpful and they take the time to really get to know their patients. They have always been very courteos during phone calls and when speaking to them in person. They all, including Dr. Todd, take a very active roll in the support group meetings. It is comforting to know that I've found a group of people who really care about my well being, and the well being of all people. I'll update more after my surgery. :)

Dr. Todd is vested in providing a
comprehensive life styles change program. He
is a constant and supportive presence before
and after surgery.

His staff is interested, polite and involved.
Elizabeth, his office coordinator and
insurance liason, definitely goes the extra
mile to insure that you get an approval.

Donna his nurse practitioner has
enthusiatically embraced bariatric surgery
and is quickly becoming skilled in preop and
postop care.

He offers an interactive support group format.
His staff invests time and energy in making
sure that patients feel that their input and
suggestions for scheduling and topics are
considered.

My initial impression of Dr. Todd is the same as it is today. I found Dr. Todd to be forthright, and honest, as well as, compassionate and strict. The staff at his office were wonderful as well. I had been given some misleading information over the telephone, and his office manager did the best she could to rectify the situation. The support group is WONDERFUL, I only wish that there was a group closer to where I live so I could attend more often. My advice is to follow the program, and listen to your surgeon.
