I first met Dr. Mile at the seminar. I found him to be nice and willing to answer all of my questions. He was straight forward with all the risks of surgery.. His staff is very helpful also especially " Debra". She put alot of my insurance worries to rest.

Doctor Miles is very knowledgeable and caring. I was impressed with his bedside manner at my consult. I was referred to Dr. Miles by Dr. Freeman who declined to do my surgery due to my 15 year use of prenesone for adrenal disorder. Dr. Miles was confident that I was a good candidate since I have not taken the steroid since February of this year. He treated me as a PERSON and was very informative. His patients go through a mental "process" to prepare them for the drastic lifestyle change that WLS brings. I have friends that have used other doctors in Alabama and they were not as prepared for surgery as I feel I am.

Dr. Miles was very informative and confident in his meeting I attended.Rona was also inspiring.I felt very comfortable with all the information given at the meeting. I have only seen Dr. Miles twice and he makes sure you are aware of all the possible complications and makes sure you know that it is up to you whether you will be sucessful by following the plan. I am excited and looking forward to the surgery. Debra was so helpful in all the procedures and getting all the information to get everything completed. She goes that extra mile to help you get everything ready and make you feel at ease. I was coming close to my deadline for the insurance approval to expire and she helped me finish everything. Did have trouble with some of the staff getting messages through to call me.

I had my first meeting with Dr. Miles today. He was very nice and answered all my questions I had. His staff is wonderful as well. They were all so friendly and helpful in my visit.

He told me about the procedure and what all it in telled and told me the risk and the complications. Told me everything I needed to know. I was throughly impressed.

He was a very nice man, I trust him because we have the same last name, yet, we are not related.

The office staff was very helpful and willing to please and make sure i have all the information I need.

Dr. Miles is a very caring Doctor. When I had problems after surgery he came to see me in the hospital on his day off. (not all doctors do this). Dawn in his office is wonderful to work with, she got my insurance approved in 1 business day and I had surgery the next week.

I first met Dr. Miles at the WLS Seminar. He was very informative and I immediately liked him. Their program is VERY structured, and places a high importance on aftercare and I like that. He stressed that WLS is a tool and it would be up to us to make the surgery successful. He also talked about the risks involved, this is major surgery! I also like that he does not do this surgery on an out patient basis. My mother has had some complications with intestinal surgery she had and she did not display symptoms until 1-2 days after surgery, so being careful sounds smart to me! I have nothing but great things to say about the staff. I had some questions about insurance and they have responded to and resolved each one within a couple of hours. My consult is in a few weeks and I look forward to meeting Dr. Miles.

Dr. Miles seemed to be very understanding and knowlegable. He seemed cool and calm about doing the surgury, and he answered all of my questions. I will have more info about him as time goes by.

I found Dr. Miles to be a great Dr. His office staff really work with you to get you in pretty quick.At his seminars he lays everything on the line about the ins & outs of what could and would happen if you didn't do like you were suppose too. He will sit and talk to you anytime you ned to.

I first met Dr. Miles at the required seminar. He was very thorough in explaining the surgery and what you can expect. My husband before the seminar was skeptical and not really convinced that surgery was the way to go (he thought I could simply just drop the weight if I really wanted to). After the seminar, my husband was a believer and 100% supportive of my having the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Miles to anyone wanting to have WLS. He is the greatest! By the way, the office staff is great as well. I have had no problems whatsoever from him or his wonderful staff. Thank you Dr. Miles for giving me my life back. Also, at the initial visit, he was very thorough, answering any and all questions that me and my husband had. They also did a good job of getting me in before my insurance changed and my deductibles doubled....that meant the difference between having the surgery or not having the surgery, so I guess because of that I have nothing negative to say. My experience all around was great.
