Dr. Trivedi is absolutely great! He was very supportive. Even when I was beginning to freak out in the OR. He made me feel that this was to improve my health and everything was going to be ok.

Nice guy, great job, no surgical issues or problems at all. Hospital was fantastic. But little post-op support.rnrnMet with nutritionist only once and she recommended a basic Weight Watcher's type diet. I ended up giving her food suggestions to pass on instead of the other way around. No support group except a regional one way out of the way. Otherwise only ever had one six month checkup after the initial one month appt. I followed up on my own with a primary care doctor for everything after that point. rnrnI would definitely see him again for surgical issues though.

Dr. Schmidt has a great reputation and with good reason. He was straight forward about the surgery, its risks and the need for aftercare. He and his office staff are very personable and my experience has been great. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Schmidt is a great surgeon and i would highly reccomend him to anyone that is considering this course of treatment. I would rate him 100% +

Dr Trivedi was great. He made me feel very at ease. He explained the procedure thoroughly and allowed time for any questions. I highly recommend Advanced Laparoscopic Associates. The physicians and staff are terrific. They also provide very good after surgery care. They can always be reached for questions or concerns.

Dr. Schmidt was caring, and didn't rush me and my husband at our appointment. He was upfront about what my expectations should be in regard to weight loss, and addressed all my co-morbidities.rnrnThe morning of surgery he spent time talking to me, answering my last minute questions and I knew I had made the right decision. rnrnI will say it was a little difficult to contact his staff occasionally, but I found out afterwards that their surgical coordinator assigned to me had resignedrnwhile I was mid-process.rnrnI have lost 122 lbs. in 7 1/2 months, my lab work has come back perfect and I feel unbelievably well.rnrnDr. Schmidt not only saved my life, he gave me back quality of life. For what good is being alive if you can't enjoy it?

when i first met with Dr. trivedi he came across like a nice soft spoken man who was concerned about my problems. he answered all my questions regarding the surgery and explained to me all of the pros and cons of the surgery which in return put my mind at ease. I'm very happy I chose him although the other Dr.s are great but he was just the right one for me. So far today all is going well and i thank God and Dr. Trivedi . May God keep blessing him so he can keep changing peoples life.

When I first met Dr. Schmidt I was very comfortable with my decision. He didn't waste time, he knew what he was doing and set a realistic goal for myself. I heard about Dr. Schmidt from one of my husbands' coworkers who had the gastric bypass. I live an hour away from the hospital and the office but I knew I'd be willing to travel to have the right surgeon. Dr. Schimidt was very clear on the differences between gastric bypass and lap band. If we had any questions he answered them completely! He was very honest and surprisingly personable! Which I really liked! I cannot even begin to say enough about his office staff. They get your ball rolling and don't stop until you are scheduled for surgery! They are a fabulous team from the nurse to your coordinated to the front counter! You can't just look in the phone book for a surgeon these days! You have to do your research and do it! i am very satisfied with my choice in a surgeon, as far as a rating 10 absolutely!

I have seen a couple of surgeons to perfrom WLS on me. And after a couple of insurance mishaps with one I decided to see Dr. Trivedi.rnHe was WONDERFUL, a true gem! His mannerism and professionalism is unsurpassed. He also is highly qualified with many years experience and successful sugeries. I knew I was in good hands. After my first visit with him I got my long awaited approval from Aetna. I believe it was a sign for me to go to him.

My first impression of Dr.Schmidt, was that he was Very confident and very knowledgeable. ( & a METS fan! go METS!) Dr Schmidt was straight to the point and honest. He answered all my questions in detail and discussed the pros & cons of both the lap-band & Gastric bypass his manner put me immediatley at ease. I Had my Lap-Band surgery on 1-19-07 (243 lbs) I had a very positive surgical experience with Dr. Schmidt and can recommend him highly. Dr Schmidt gets a 11 out of 10!!! Thank you sooo much for my new Life! I found of his office and nursing staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable especially my caseworker Dawn! (thank you so much Dawn...My new life would not have come to be w/o your help.) It has been 1 wek post op & I went for my follow up yesterday I already lost 20 pounds!! The post op support is fabulous- Kathy & Ramsey were very knowledgable & friendly- they made me feel very comfortable. I still can't stop smiling- My husband jokes Im gonna need plastic Surgery to remove the smile from my face! My cheeks actually hurt! I am so excited & happy! Thank you Thank you Thank you! The best part of all this is I did this with my Mom - we did the whole process together! Without her support - the GREAT Dr. Schmidt , Dawn & most of all my husband & his support & dedication none of this would be possible! Thank you - I will follow up in 1 month
