Tari, My surgery was canceled one week before my "big date" because of insurance problems. I know how blown away I was, I can't even begin to imagine how blown away you are - seems soooo unfair to get that close and have the insurance company 'burst' our bubble of hope! I extend my sympathy and prayers to you! God Bless and keep you.

HELP ME PLEASE MY BEST BUDDIE JUST GOT HER SURGERY CANCELED YES "CANCELED" ONE DEAY BEFORE HER BIG DAY ST VINN. HOSP IN CARMEL JUST PASSED A NEW POLICY FEB 1ST 2002 THAT THEY REQUIRE "2" PRE APPROVED LETTERS SO SHE COULD ONLY GET ONE TODAY AND THEY HAD TO CANCEL HER AND GIVE THE OR ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE BOOO HOOO!!!!! PLEASE SEND HER SOME SUPPORT I HAVE BEEN IN HER SHOES AND LET ME TELL YA IT SUCKS REALLY BAD HUGS AND SMILES TO ALL DARCIE TARI DONT GIVE UP HOPE. WE WILL GET THROU THIS LOVE YA

Tari, Congratulations on your surgery tomorrow! I hope everything goes great and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it gets a little better each day. And in the long run, it is soooo worth it! A WLS friend,
