Jeremy, please do not be afraid. Just pray and God will listen. You have gotten this far, so I believe there is a special plan for you. Keep believing the for the best. You are in my prayers. I can't wait to here your success stories as time passes. You know we are all here for you when you are feeling down and need some encouragement. Just keep sharing all your thoughts and we will help you get through while your waiting.

Hi Jeremy, I am Jo from MS.I am 41 yrs old. I started looking into WLS about 3 years ago. Then I kinda forgot about it, due to all the marriage stress I was having in my life. My life at the time didn't matter to me if I lived or died. But, in May 2004 I met the man of my dreams. I weighed in at 444. But, he didnt look at the outside of me, he looked at the inside of me. I sent a email to my surgeon's staff and they contacted me immediately. I have went through alot of test, and it has taken some time. But my surgery date is scheduled for the 20th of this month. There was times that I felt like I would never get to where I am now. But I had encouragment from this site, and alot of prayers, and here I am.. I made it. I am looking forward to being a healthier person, 1. for myself, 2. for my husband, 3. for my grandkids. Just hang in there and pray & pray and pray some more. God will make a way when there seems to be no way. If you ever need a friend to talk to.. Us folks in MS are pretty friendly. We have yahoo and we chat with one another occassionally and it helps alot. I will be praying for you. Look up & not down. You will find your answer from up above, not down below. Jeremy, I know how hard the wait is.. trust me. I too almost died waiting for my surgery. In fact, I was in the hospital with lung failure on my surgery date. So my thoughts are with you for a speedy date!

Hi Jeremy...Please don't lose hope! When I get to feeling sorry for myself, or think all hope is lost, I remember what someone told me once - "If HE brought you to it, HE will bring you through it." I just read on the KY state message board that in Cincinnati, OH, Deaconess accepts medicaid. I don't know if there is a waiting list, but you might check it out. Jeremy, You continue to be thought of. Keep calling, maybe a cancellation witll happen or even ask to be put on a list to get in. I know how you feel. I thought the whole time I was going to die. God be with you. Email me anytime.

Hi Jeremy, My thoughts and prayers are with you! One word of advice -- if you haven't done so already, see if you can be put on their cancellation list, in case someone ahead of you cancels perhaps they could move you into that spot. Also, I would be calling them every day to see if there's any cancellations. Not sure if this will work, but it did help one of my friends get in faster with her doctor. Take care!
