Sharon I read your profile and you are beautiful! I have two friends who have the same insurance as you and they both have been declined. I had that insurance and they have a written clause that states they will not cover WLS. This strikes me as strange because so many ins. companies are covering this proceedure. They are a large company too. Go figure. Have you met your husbands family yet? And your right if you aren't healthy and happy what is the use of retirement. I have two teenage daughters and I decided that this is for me and my hubby. The girls aren't going to be around for very long and I plan on keeping my husband. So I want to be the best I can be for those golden years. He has NEVER said a single word about my weight. And when I brought up this surgery he was wonderful! His comment was "If you want to do this fine. Let's do it" He included himself into the equation. Isn't that great? Thank you for your wonderful words of encouragement. I look forward to see myself in the mirror. dj

Congratulations Sharon I want to hit that under that 200lbs mark so badly. I still have 15lbs to go. You had your surgery 2 week before me. I know how badly I want it so I can feel how thrilled you are. ^5
