Hi Shelly, I had my surgery the day after you, your doing great! Tell your mom, she is not alone, I had the same experience with being awake, paralyzed and on the ventilator following my WLS surgery, this went on for what seemed like an hour or more. The memory of it has gotten less and less over as the months go by so tell her it will become a distant memory.
