Welcome Nikki and Daniyel! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery Dominique! My day is rapidly approaching. I have completed my chest x-ray and will complete my pre-op bloodwork and EKG tomorrow. I have made arrangements for my children and transportation. I'm going to order a few samples of protein and buy a package or two from GNC. I've started some heavy duty cleaning (I don't know why - since I have 3 young children) and have been thinking about what I'm going to take with me. Thanks to everyone for the messages of support and encouragement! Continue to pray that I have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery.

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.

Well, July 15th will be here before I know it. I've completed my final consultation with Dr. Fullum and will do my pre-op/pre-admissions stuff at Washington Adventist Hospital on July 7th. Pray that I have a smooth surgery and recovery. If you have any tips, please let me know. I wish success to all pre-ops waiting for insurance approvals and continued success to all post-ops. If anyone else started out around my size (5'6" - 279 lbs.) and has before and after pictures, I'd love to see them. I know that everyone loses differently, but I'm having difficulty imagining myself at a smaller size. I guess I've rambled on enough for now. Thanks for all the wonderful e-mails. Crystal

I have received clearance from the cardiologist! This was my last scheduled specialist appointment! I have my final consultation with Dr. Fullum on June 26 and have to do my pre-op stuff at Washington Adventist Hospital by July 3. Everything is going so smoothly. I just pray the surgery will too!
